Aki:
This mission was well worth the lives of you and your men.

Jane Proudfoot:
"Men"?

Ryan:
She thinks you're a man.

Jane Proudfoot:
I think she's an idiot.

Neil:
I know you're not a man.

Jane Proudfoot:
I think YOU'RE an idiot too.

Ryan:
PLEASE tell me we're risking our lives for that little plant.

Jane Proudfoot:
I wouldn't even call it a plant; I'd call it a weed.

Neil:
I wouldn't even call it a weed.

General Hein:
Report any aberrant behavior in Dr. Ross to the Major immediately.

Grey:
"Aberrant behavior," sir?

General Hein:
The woman carries an alien infection. It may be clouding her judgment. They may be manipulating her for their very own purposes.

Grey:
Is the General suggesting Dr. Ross is a spy?

General Hein:
The General is wondering why he's explaining himself to a Captain.

Neil:
Speak to me, Sarge.

Ryan:
Ouch.

Grey:

Jane Proudfoot:
What do you think you're doing?

Neil:
We're just gonna stall them for a little while... Hey, don't look at me, it was HIS idea.

Jane Proudfoot:

We're just helping the Captain out a little. Have you seen the way he looks at her?

Neil:

Doctor Sid:

Doctor Sid:

Doctor Aki Ross:
Doctor, there's a war going on. Nobody's young anymore.

Neil:
I think we should proceed to the nearest evacuation facility.

Neil:
Jane, let me ask you something, do you think we're gonna get out of here alive? I mean I wonder if anyone else has gotten out. You think anyone's made it this far? huh?

Jane Proudfoot:

Neil:
You really think this 8. spirit stuff is really going to work against the phantoms? i mean, what if it's all a bunch of Mumbo Jumbo?

Neil:
Ahh... jeez Jane. do you mind if we stop talking? I'm trying to concentrate here.

Neil:
Looks like you've gained some weight.

Jane Proudfoot:
It's called upper body strength Neil. Get a girlfriend.

Neil:

General Hein:

Grey:

Doctor Sid:
So I gather this will be somewhat of a rough ride.

Neil:
Doc, you got a talent for understatement.

Doctor Sid:

Ryan:
Two. Coming from the eighth wall.

Neil:
Alright everybody, here they come.

General Hein:
Where is the PROOF?

Doctor Aki Ross:

Grey:
Whoa. Neil, I'm impressed.

Neil:
That makes two of us.

Aki:
I just... I don't know how much time I have left.

Capt. Gray Edwards:
Who does?

Aki:
What's happening?

Capt. Gray Edwards:
Dr. Cid is implanting the Seventh Spirit directly into your body.

Aki:
Then you must be my spiritual support. Gray, how sweet.

Aki:
Only seven years old... and yet ready to die.

Neil:
How could they survive a trip across space on a chunk of rock?

Aki:

Neil:
Oh... this is all beginning to make a creepy sort of sense.

Capt. Gray Edwards:
The city may be lost, but we're not.

Jane Proudfoot:

Neil:

Neil:
Locked, naturally.

Capt. Gray Edwards:
I want you two back on the ship.

Neil:

Jane is negotiating with extreme prejudice.

Aki:
We can't just leave everyone.

Capt. Gray Edwards:
Everyone is dead.

Capt. Gray Edwards:

Aki:
Yes-it's Gaia.

Capt. Gray Edwards:
This is definitely not a good place to be.

Aki:
With the hope of new life has Gaia changed the phantom within.

Aki:
All life is born of Gaia and each life has a spirit. Each new spirit is housed in a physical body. Doctor?

Aki:
Through their experiences on Earth, each spirit matures and grows. When the physical body dies, the mature spirit, enriched by its life on Earth, returns to Gaia, bringing with it the experiences, enabling Gaia to live and grow.
