[Talking to his donkey] Drop anchor, Star.

Sandy Ricks:
[after flipper gets him a banana] Thank you Flipper. But bananas aren't for dolphins. They're for people. You're not a people.

Sandy Ricks:
[doing a blood oath] I swear I won't tell anything about Sandy Ricks, or Flipper

Penny Hopewell:
I swear I won't tell anything about sandy ricks.

Sandy Ricks:
That's me.

Penny Hopewell:
Or Flippa.

Sandy Ricks:
His name is Flipper.

Penny Hopewell:
That's what I said. Flippa.

Sandy Ricks:
Why do you talk so funny?

Penny Hopewell:

Gil Bates:
Hey, you know who this guy is? I've just been going through his papers. Sir Halsey Hopewell. Oh, excuse me, ah, 'The Sir Halsey Hopewell'. One of the worlds great airplane builders and designers, worth 10 million dollars. Honored by 6 Governments. Yeah, we got ourselves a real prize here.

Gil Bates:
[Hands Halsey Hopewell a script] Get on the radio, friend.

Sir Halsey Hopewell:
Mayday, mayday, mayday, this is WG9O26, Sir Halsey Hopewell on the Penjulia. I can only send this message once. Please tape record if you can. I will wait 10 seconds.

Sir Halsey Hopewell:
[after 10 seconds] My wife, My 2 daughters, and I, are being held as hostage, by Gil Bates. He and his 'associates', want a guarantee of immunity and safe conduct, to wherever they wish to go. If they do not get this within one hour, they will kill me [pauses with a look of fear on his face] and my family. Do not, I repeat, do not conduct any search activities. Stay away, I repeat, stay away, or they will kill us.

Gil Bates:
And I mean it!

Convict:
[looks at flipper acting crazy] How are you supposed to make a fish act that way? Some kind of local weed in the water or something?

Sandy Ricks:
[after flipper returns from nearly being hit by an oar] I know. I saw her try to hit you. I don't blame you.

Sandy Ricks:
Say, you fight pretty good.

Penny Hopewell:
You were lucky. You should see me when i've had enough to eat.

Sandy Ricks:
Another thing you should know right away, is how to climb a coconut tree, and how to husk coconuts. My pa showed me how they do it in the south seas. It's not hard, even for a girl. Come on!

Sandy Ricks:
[after penny gets a coconut] Ok. that's pretty good!

Penny Hopewell:
I know. For a girl!

Sandy Ricks:
[Crying] I'll help you Flipper. I'll help you somehow. It'll be alright. [flipper moves around] Flipper, please stop moving. [continues crying]
