Ramirez:
[having knocked out a guard with a science book ] Science can be heavy-going, eh?

Ramirez:
In a few minutes , you may very well be the last, Kortan, but you will rule over a pile of cinders for all eternity. Mogonda is going to explode. If the generator is destroyed, not only will Mogonda disappear, but the whole of the valley will go with it. Let us leave Mogonda and I will spare your city. When we're safe, I'll show you how to disconnect the bomb. Think fast, Kortan.

Kortan:
You win... this time.

Clyde:
[seeing a ground missile streaking across the sky] Look! Shooting star! Quick, make a wish!

Asklepios:
There's something wrong! Somebody has gotten inside the base!

Kortan:
MacLeod. He's finally made up his mind. Malone, my sword!

Malone:
Service with a smile, my Lord.

Asklepios:
Should I stop the countdown, my Lord?

Kortan:
No. Why stopping MacLeod when we can crush them all?

Malone:
[looking at an hydro container attached to the missile base's operational system] Drip drop, tic toc, boom !

Marjorie:
What is this place? [Quentin, Ramirez and Marjorie have entered the Bureaucrat lab hidden inside the false God's temple ]

Ramirez:
This is where the lie begins.

Kortan:
One day we'll be on the same side of the bridge, MacLeod. Then there will be no more running.

Ramirez:
Quentin MacLeod, by the Immortals' blood, in honoured memory of Connor MacLeod, you will now receive the secret sword with all its power.

Clyde:
[incredulous] But you keep saying that Kortan is stronger. That Quentin wouldn't have a chance.

Ramirez:
[ignoring Clyde] Quentin MacLeod, will you combat Kortan to restore knowledge, justice, and liberty to mankind?

Quentin MacLeod:
I will.

Clyde:
Quentin...

Ramirez:
I hereby returned you the secret sword of the MacLeods: be proud and worthy of her; she shall serve you well in the final combat, for in the end there can be only one.

Quentin MacLeod:
[taking the sword] I thought this day would never come.

Ramirez:

Clyde:

Quentin MacLeod:
Is there really another world, Ramirez?

Ramirez:

Quentin MacLeod:
[looking at the ship models] Aren't they a little... small?

Ramirez:
But these are just models, you can't sail on models!

Prometheus:
The radiation has destroyed my body.

Ramirez:
But you're immortal.

Prometheus:
Do you really think that helps, Ramirez? My immortality has become my prison.

Kortan:
Does it hurt, Prometheus? Too bad the Highlander has run away and nobody can set you free. Except me.

Arak:
I always seem to find you, MacLeod. Even in an arctic waste land.

Quentin MacLeod:
And I always seem to escape you, Arak. Or did you forget ?

Takanok:
[seeing the Hunters retrieving one of their tanks from a hole] Monsters?

Quentin MacLeod:
Yes. It's exactly what they are.

Arak:
[to his Hunters] If I don't get MacLeod, you will all stay here and become frozen dinners for polar bears!

Ramirez:
This might just be tonight's supper. [Ramirez moves some bushes, ready to hit with a stick whatever's hiding behind it. They found some baby Grans]

Ramirez:
Baby Grans?

Clyde:
What, let me see...

Ramirez:
Well, I'll be...

Clyde:
[disapproving] Ramirez, how could you?

Ramirez:
Sorry... I... I didn't... alright, alright, I didn't do anything, did I ?

Quentin MacLeod:
Clyde! Let go of her!

Arak:
[letting Clyde go] Gladly. She served her purpose. [an army of Hunters appears]

Arak:
You're not the only one who can set traps, MacLeod.

Arak:
Kortan will cover me with gold and glory for this catch.

Kortan:
I must leave the city, Asklepios. You are in charge. You have absolute power in my absence. Which also means you alone will be to blame if anything goes wrong.

Bureaucrat guard 651:
No unauthorized entrance. Orders from Lord Asklepios.

Arak:
Lord Asklepios? [Arak pushes the guard over and forces his way into Kortan's throne room. Asklepios is sitting on the throne]

Arak:
What's going on, Asklepios?

Asklepios:
In Lord Kortan's absence I make the rules. The entire city owes me respect and obedience and that includes you, Arak. Hand your prisoner over to me. That's an order.

Arak:
You've gone mad!This is high treason!

Asklepios:
I rule over Mogonda! Obey me or answer to Kortan's wrath!

Arak:
[to his Hunters, disgusted] Hand the prisoner over to his lordship. [Arak and the Hunters leave Volta to Asklepios]

Asklepios:
[with a delirious tone] Oh, yes! You are my prisoner! [bursts into laughter]

Malone:
MacLeod is cunning, taking advantage of your power-hungry councillor like that. Very clever.

Kortan:
You all dream about power. Even you. The fool.

Arak:
What do you want, Asklepios?

Asklepios:
Good to see you too, Arak. I've just located a jettator who has precious information that I know Lord Kortan would dearly desire.

Arak:
And... ?

Asklepios:
And you're going to snap to it, head out there and bring him back before the Highlander beats you to it.

Arak:
How dare you? I take orders from Kortan and only from Kortan.

Asklepios:
Of course. You haven't heard, have you? Kortan has put me in charge of this mission. You don't want to let him down again, do you? Anyway , that's what you're here for, eh, Arak? To follow orders? To each his own task.

Malone:
Asklepios says you're leaving for the flatten city, Lord Kortan.

Kortan:

Malone:

Ramirez:

Well, looks like Mogonda isn't impregnable. Perhaps your Hunters aren't up to the job?

Arak:
My Hunters risk their lives while your officials sit at their desks and tremble.

Malone:
[playing with Kortan's sword in the weapon chamber] Beautiful , beautiful sword. Oh, the power. Eternal power to Malone!

Kortan:
[looming from behind] Malone... [a scared Malone falls on the floor dropping Kortan's sword]

Malone:
Loom... Lord Kortan...

Kortan:
This is your final mistake!

Malone:
Lord, I will explain everything...

Kortan:
[grabbing Malone by the neck and raising him from his feet] No, I'm fed up with your excuses. And fed up with you, Malone.

Human Key:
Get away from me! I don't want your pity! Who are you? Why are you wearing that ridiculous mask?

Malone:
My name is Malone. I'm an actor.

Human Key:
Ha-ha, an actor. Well, all that is over and done with. For you the acting stops today. In there your roles will come to an end. This machine will wipe out all your memories; all the lines that took years to learn, the tirades that impassioned your audiences will vanish into thin air.

Malone:
I couldn't care less.

Human Key:
Really? And why not?

Malone:
I'm a mime. [bursts into laughter]

Malone:
Before, a long time ago, my name wasn't Malone. I was taken to the Room of Oblivion and everything I was before was annihilated. Pulverized. So Malone was born. Ever since then I lived for and through Kortan.

Asklepios:
[ready to brainwash Neil] Don't worry, you'll only feel a slight burn.

Kortan:
Can't we go any faster?

Arak:
The pilots are trying their best, Lord Kortan. We've got a heavy load.

Kortan:
Yes indeed, Arak.

Arak:
Why all these tanks, Sir?

Kortan:
We're going to sink them, Arak.

Arak:
But... but our men will sink with them.

Kortan:
That is your problem, Arak.

Arak:
[upset] Eternal power to Kortan.

Malone:

Arak:
What about you when he learns you fired on Mogonda?

Asklepios:
[after brief meditation] Perhaps it's best that Kortan doesn't hear the full story.

Arak:
You may be right.

Arak:
[entering Kortan's throne room] Eternal power to Kortan.

Kortan:
Your missions end in failure much too often, Arak .

Arak:
[marching towards the Hill of Oath under the storm] If there is somebody on that hill, they're going to be very sorry I had to go out in this mess.

Chief Hurricane:
Then there'll be light! [the Hurricanes manage to channel the storm's electricity into their generators]

Hurricanes:
[all together] And there was light! And there was light!

Kortan:
I will defeat you, MacLeod! Your head will roll at my feet as did the head of Connor MacLeod!

Valka:
[trying to convince Ramirez that he should use his blood to save Asklepios] You have to help him. He took a sword that was meant for you!

Ramirez:
Nonsense. He was simply obeying Kortan's orders. He's Kortan's most devoted servant.

Valka:
[bent on the wounded Asklepios] Lord, we must do something quickly. He's lost so much blood.

Kortan:
What is one man's life worth when the moment has come for the final combat?

Valka:
But lord, he can still be of use to you. You must save him.

Kortan:
Mortals pass away, but we remain. You will replace him.

Malone:
[to Arak] Things don't seem to go very well, Major. You're looking a bit pale. And in an amusement park. Aren't we having fun? [Asklepios, accidentally wounded by Arak, is lying on the ground]

Valka:
[bent on Asklepios] He's losing blood fast! We have to save him!

Malone:
[ironic] Aargh. Lord Kortan, it seems like one of your favourite toys has been broken.

Valka:
Lord, we must do something quickly. He's lost so much blood.

Kortan:

Branagh:
You have returned the most important thing in the world to me and have helped me get rid of my greatest burden: my immortality.

Ramirez:
In the end, Branagh, you found your courage by obeying your heart.

Ramirez:

Quentin MacLeod:

Ramirez:

[after Shepard has passed his knowledge to him] In the end there can be only one.

Kortan:
Yes, me. Meet your doom, Highlander.

Kortan:
MacLeod! I have all the time in the world to learn how to use the satellite. You'll never escape. I'll keep after you. Do you hear me, Highlander? I'll hunt you down until you beg for the end.

Quentin MacLeod:
How did men forget all these incredible things?

Ramirez:
It was Kortan. Kortan used his powers to wipe them from our memory.

Quentin MacLeod:
So he could control us better.

Ramirez:
Yes. In order to know where he's going, man needs to understand where he's been.

Ramirez:
[Quentin and Ramirez are on a boat in the lake. Quentin is trying to keep his balance while holding a stick with two heavy rocks attached] Calls himself a man and can't even stand on his own two feet.

Mohar:
If I had more Gorans for transport, I could take over the whole valley and then I'd be invincible. I'd be as powerful as man was before the great catastrophe.

Mohar:
I, Mohar, will be victorious once again, Dundees or no Dundees, and ,after that, I will go to Mogonda. The supreme city itself will bow to me. Even Kortan will bow to Mohar and his ultimate weapon. [takes his browning]

Glen:
[Quentin and Glen come across the ruins of an aircraft carrier] That's incredible. I've never seen anything like that before. Could it be a monster?

Quentin McLeod:
I don't think so. Looks more like a... city.

High Priest:
The lieutenants are ready for the ceremony, Mohar.

Mohar:
Excellent! Now I want your prayers to honour the brown which granted me its powers. [to his browning] You deserve it. Once again, my victory has been total thanks to you.

High Priest:
Glory to the mighty brown!

High Priest:
[Quentin has put the High Priest in chains and taken the browning] Don't touch it! You... you will die for that!

Quentin McLeod:
You may be right, but before I do, why don't you tell me how this thing works? Well? [Quentin tries to figure out how the browning works. He's holding it on the wrong side]

High Priest:
[excited] That's it, just like that! Squeeze your finger!

Quentin McLeod:
Here? [Quentin points the browning at his chest]

High Priest:
Yes! Yes, that's it! Hold it right there against your stomach!

Quentin McLeod:
[Having figured out how the browning works, Quentin shoots up in excitement. He notices some old planes] How strange. They look like enormous birds... that can't fly. [Quentin opens the fire on a plane making it explode. He then sees that the Dundees are leaving the area with their Gorans]

Quentin McLeod:
They made it! [to the browning] Now, let's you and I go and take care of Kortan.

Ramirez:
Now what are you going to do?

Quentin McLeod:
First, I'll get rid of them.

Ramirez:
What are you waiting for? That should be easy to do with such a weapon. And then what will you do, Quentin?

Quentin McLeod:
Then... I'll finish off Kortan! I don't need your knowledge now that I have this!

Ramirez:
And then... ?

Quentin McLeod:
Then Mogonda will be mine and...

Ramirez:
And the world will have a new tyrant.

Quentin McLeod:
Well, isn't that what you and the other Jettators had planned?

Ramirez:
[Quentin has forced Mohar and his lieutenants to jump off the ship by holding them at gunpoint and eventually shooting at their feet. Ramirez applauds him] [sarcastic] A great victory, MacLeod. Only a true Highlander could have done it.

Ramirez:
[voice over] Seven centuries ago, after the great catastrophe, all Immortals assembled together on the Hill of Oath. By surrendering arms, we all became Jettators. All but one.

[All Jettators drop their swords on the ground]

Kortan:
[knocking his sword in the ground] I refuse to take this absurd vow and since no one will do battle with me, I declare myself the last Immortal and claim the prize: supreme knowledge and absolute power .

Ramirez:
So be it. Quentin the Dundee. I'll be back. If not for you, then for another. I've got time.

Glen:
Who are you?

Ramirez:
A miracle.

Kortan:
[feeling Quentin's presence] The Highlander... here already. Excellent. I will defeat him before he has received the knowledge.

Malone:
Quite right , my dearest lord. Much easier this way.

Kortan:
One word , Malone .

Malone:
[amused] You're scared , Kortan...

Ramirez:
How's Kortan these days, Merr? Still ruling the world? [punches him out]

Kirk:
The cleansing operation has been carried out as planned, Lord Kortan. Shantytown's resistance organization is destroyed. My pets had themselves a really good meal. There can't be more than a handful of rebels still in one place.

Arak:
[upset] It was a slaughter.

Kortan:
[amused] Really? We should let them loose in Shantytown more often. I want anyone who even thinks of resisting my power obliterated.

Asklepios:
[panicking at the news that Anomas have been set loose in Mogonda] Once they're here, they'll attack us all! They'll remove arms and legs! They'll chop off our heads!

Kortan:
[annoyed] Enough, Asklepios.

Arak:
[to Ramirez] Do you always attack from behind, Spaniard?

Kortan:
[communicating through a mechanical statue] Infidels have violated our territory. Whoever brings them to me, tied and bound, will be rewarded with the right to serve me. Seek and punish!

Digits:
[all together] We die for Almighty K! We die for Almighty K!

Ramirez:
If you want to be the last , you better spend more time preparing, Kortan.

Kortan:
Just as long as you're not the last , Ramirez. [Kortan takes a sword and attacks Ramirez. Ramirez tries to defend himself, but Kortan knocks him over and approaches to behead him ]

Yashoda:
[stopping Kortan] Not here, Kortan. You're forgetting the rule.

Kortan:
Your rule, Yashoda. Not mine. [tries to take Yashoda's head ]

Ramirez:
[recognizing Lothar's sword] I know this sword . It almost killed me.

Yashoda:
What's the point of defeating Kortan only to replace him with another Kortan?

Quentin MacLeod:
I...

Ramirez:
Yashoda... he realized his error in time.

Yashoda:
True. But who knows if he will be able to overcome such weaknesses in the future.

Ramirez:
I'll always be at his side. It will not happen again.

Yashoda:
You, Ramirez? I don't remember you being a model student.

Yashoda:
Highlander. I will give you another chance. But only after you have received the knowledge of all the other Jettators.

Quentin MacLeod:

Arak:
Lord Kortan's orders are clear: show no mercy! Mogonda's triumph will be the talk of the Highlands.

Hunters:
[all together] Eternal power to Kortan! Eternal power to Kortan!

Ramirez:
Twenty-three, twenty-four, twenty-five... what's Arak after with an army that size?

Quentin MacLeod:
Maybe it's me.

Ramirez:
Could be, MacLeod, could be.

Arak:
If it had been me, I would have saved a second error for you.

Asklepios:
Save your errors, Arak. With your rate of success, you need every last one of them.

Arak:
The dundees are courageous, my Lord.

Kortan:
This will make my victory all the more magnificent.

Asklepios:
Help me, my Lord, help me! Please save me! [Asklepios is tied downwards over the glass organ and has two bags of explosive attached to his mouth. A lit candle is burning the rope. Kortan takes Arak's crossbow and shoots the candle, cutting its top half and preventing the rope from being burnt]

Asklepios:
Tha... tha... thank you, my Lord. You saved my...

Kortan:
Your life, Asklepios? No. My city. [to Arak and Valka] Take him down. [Kortan leaves the glass organ room]

Arak:
If it had been me, I would have saved a second error for you.

Asklepios:
Save your errors, Arak. With your rate of success, you need every last one of them.

Asklepios:
Tha... tha... thank you, my Lord. You saved my...

Kortan:
Your life, Asklepios? No. My city

Kortan:

[upset] I knew the Highlander would come. He's gone mad, completely mad. Nothing will stop him until he kills someone. But it won't be me. [Malone tries to sneak out of the weapon chamber, but Kortan notices him]

Kortan:
Malone! [Kortan thinks for a while]

Kortan:
[with an evil smile] Malone...

Kortan:
Death comes without warning, MacLeod. It enters without knocking.

Kortan:
[approaching to kill Quentin on the snow] Red on white. How beautiful.

Janssen:
We'll crash without landing guidance.

Emerson:
You're right, Janssen, we're going to crash. But only one of us will perish.

Malone:
[following Kortan inside the ruins of the space centre] Oh,we forgot to bring flowers! He's going to think that we don't care. [Emerson feels the presence of another Immortal approaching]

Emerson:
[surprised] Kortan?

Malone:
Is that him? Oh phooey! I thought he'd be little and green.

Kortan:
Welcome back to earth, Emerson.

Malone:
[to Emerson] Sorry about the flowers. He didn't want us to stop on the way.

Kortan:
And then one day, everything stopped. The great catastrophe annihilated everything.

Emerson:
Except the Immortals.

Kortan:
Take up your arms, Emerson. Together we can rule this continent. Remember our agreement: you are in debt to me.

Emerson:
But this world isn't the one I left behind.

Kortan:

Kortan:
[after Emerson has finished to show him how the invisibility gas works] I knew your mission was experimenting on this, but I didn't know that you actually succeeded. [takes his sword]

Kortan:
Thank you, Emerson.

Emerson:
[panicking] But Kortan... our pact!

Kortan:
Must I remind you that in the end there can be only one? It was nice to see you again. [Kortan beheads Emerson]

Malone:
[posing as Kortan] Look out! It's me, Kortan. I'm extremely mean and I have a deep, terrifying voice!

Malone:
[posing as Kortan] I was born a million years ago! I am Kortan, the dinosaur! Wait, if I'm Kortan, I'll have to confront the Highlander. Only one of us shall remain, MacLeod! Only one! [laughs]

Kortan:
[having become invisible] I'm everywhere, MacLeod. Beware !

Kortan:

Kortan:

Ramirez:

Ramirez:

Asklepios:
I can't understand, my lord. There seems to be a flying machine approaching. Very rapidly.

Kortan:
Emerson. I'm going to see an old friend.

Malone:
A friend? You mean you have friends? [Kortan turns around and a scared Malone darts backwards]

Kortan:
It will give me great pleasure to greet him. Alone!

Malone:
Don't worry, I'll be very discreet, my Lord. I won't get in the way at all.

Emerson:
[re-emerging from the burning wreckages of the shuttle] No, Janssen. Our secret won't go up in smoke, but you will! [laughs]

Ramirez:
Out of jet fuel. Hmm, I don't imagine we'll find a mechanic at this hour. I'd say we're about 700 years too late.

Kortan:
You may speak, Asklepios.

Asklepios:
Lord Kortan, Mogonda is, at this very moment, a cauldron of uncontrolled violence. It is unworthy of our great city.

Malone:
[laughing] But my dear Asklepios, Mogonda built its empire on violence.

Asklepios:
But this time it's a question of a duel between two of our best men: Major Gorth and Major Arak.

Malone:
Gorth and Arak? They hate each other. We may lose one of our best men. Or maybe two. [laughs]

Kortan:
[disapproving] You find that amusing, Malone ?

Kortan:
It may be the Highlander. He can't possibly be ready yet. [Malone helps Kortan with his armor]

Kortan:
He won't escape this time.

Malone:
But my lord Kortan, is this going to interrupt my duel?

Kortan:
[jabbing Malone with his elbow and dragging him away] Your duel? Your duel?

Kortan:
Prepare to die, MacLeod.

Quentin MacLeod:
I'm not afraid of you, Kortan.

Kortan:
That's your mistake. Goodbye Highlander.

Kortan:
[talking to his sword] Soon it will be the Highlander's neck you'll be slicing through.

Arak:
Hey, traitor! Take this sword. [hands his sword to 451]

451:
Who, me?

Arak:
Yes, you. You either take the handle or the point. Get it?

Ramirez:
Don't look so disappointed, MacLeod. These tracks were made by our Gavors. And I bet the MacLeod sword that she's with them.

Ramirez:

Arak:
