Narrator:
Adam and Jamie have never been afraid of going deep.

Adam:
[operating shark-punching Buster] Oh, my God! This is more fun than should be allowed.

Jamie:
[over radio] This is one of those "What the hell am I doing?" moments, over!

Jamie:
Adam, the police officer says you need to drink more.

Jamie:
I always enjoy seeing Adam in pain.

Jamie:
[wearing a full-body fire-protection suit with tinted hood] I kinda like it in here, it's private!

Adam:
Remember, don't try this at home.

Jamie:
We're what you call "experts".

Adam:
We got a robot in the water, he's stuffed with tuna and it's just another day here at Mythbusters.

Jamie:
I think this thing could hurt you. I think we're about to find out whether it will hurt you.

Adam:
All right, I'll go put on the suit.

Narrator:
What did I say about dressing up?

Adam:
[dancing in Redman suit] Yeah! You can shake your booty in this!

Kari:
All right! Looks like it's time to pack Buster's bags for the Bahamas. What do you think he'd wear? Shorts or a little thong?

Adam:
I... I don't know if Buster has enough actual flesh down there for a thong, but a...

Jamie:
He's got no butt at all, in fact he doesn't even have any legs.

Adam:
[covered in tomato juice] I think it's working!

Jamie:
I don't think our death ray is working. I'm standing right in it, and I'm not dead yet.

Adam:
How many of me can you stand?

Jamie:
[while pushing Adam into the quicksand] Drown, you bastard!

[Adam gets upset with Jamie and walks away]

Jamie:
Adam needs a cookie.

Narrator:
[after Adam hurts himself] Adam is more fragile than this rig.

Adam:
[while trying to calculate how many pingpong balls it takes to cancel out one pound] Oh no, oh crap.

Jamie:
That's great Adam. I'll see you later. [Starts walking away] Let me know when you get that all worked out.

Jamie:
What's the problem, you don't believe the math?

Adam:
If I had any dignity, that would have been humiliating

Adam:
[Fake arrow on his head] Coming up, could a ninja snatch an arrow out of the air?

Jamie:
Sorry about that, man.

Adam:
That's okay.

Jamie:
So what's in these things?

Adam:
Supposed to be vinegar and water. [takes a sip of feminine hygiene products and spits it out] Yeah, tastes like vinegar and water. [starts laughing] I just took a taste test. [continues laughing]

Kari:
I have a sneaking suspicion that I'm a really, really bad driver!

Adam:
[wearing a pilot's helmet] Pilot to bombardier, pilot to bombardier, do you read, over?

Adam:
[sticks on a Shock Watch sticker] This is the source of all my special powers!

Adam:
Well, hopefully that's our job, to strap rockets onto everything!

Jamie:
Give it your best shot! Come on!

Salvatore:
Mmmmmm... Yummy!

Salvatore:
He's gonna die... but it's gonna look great.

Adam:
[holding a floatation barrel] The only thing we're told we can't do is burn them, blow them up, or lose them!

Salvatore:
Has he watched the show?

Kari:
[christening the Orca V. Bottle does not break] Ewww... How the heck do they do this?

Narrator:
[Kari tries to break the bottle repeatedly] It's made of "stern" stuff, Kari!

Grant:
[laughing] Bullseye!

Kari:
[the Shrammer rams into the Orca V] Oh, camera in the water! [laughs]

Scottie:
Maybe it's a myth that methane is flammable.

Adam:
It's not a myth. We're just idiots.

Jamie:
Adam doesn't know it yet but he's digging his own grave.

Adam:
What's that?

Jamie:
What?... Nothing!

Jamie:
[wearing a wetsuit] I feel kinda sexy!

Jamie:
[Adam writes "Crash" Hyneman on Jamie's Helmet] What the hell are you writing out there?

Scottie:
[smells Adam] You smell like a Bloody Mary!

Jamie:
Good shot, Adam!

Adam:
Thank you, Uncle Jamie.

Kari:
[after Adam gets shocked by the ark] Do you feel God?

Adam:
I wouldn't say Jamie's an evil genius.

Jamie:
When will the fun ever stop?

Jamie:
[Jamie is holding a duck] Quack, damn you!

Adam:
He looks like he's trying to collect a loan from the duck. Duck loan collection agency!

[in a mobster accent]

Adam:
We want to talk to you about some outstanding feed!

Adam:
Jamie, marinade!

Adam:
[pours tomato juice over himself] Wow, this is like performance art!

Adam:
[holds a duck to the camera] Do you have anything to say to the ducks back home?

Jamie:
[fills a truck with vacuum cleaners] Do we suck or what?

Jamie:
And that was the end of Adam's Television career.

Adam:
No!

[punches Jamie in the arm]

Kari:
[hi-fives Scottie] Giant industrial pogo stick! Nice!

Adam:
[sits on his hovercraft with pizza boxes taped to his arms] I think we may have something here!

Adam:
[Christine and Tory tape pizza boxes to Adam's arms] We're at the Icarus part of the evening. I think you know what happened to Icarus!

Jamie:
Well, that's a bright light you got going there, buddy!

Adam:
This kills you!

[points to a .30-06 bullet]

Adam:
This kills you and everyone else in the room!

[points to a .50cal bullet]

Jamie:
Ninety-two feet to the top of the pulleys!

Kari:
Ninety-two feet to the dead bird! [Jamie laughs]

Adam:
How hard can it be to blow up a room full of gasoline?

Jamie:
[after spectacularly destroying two semi-trucks] It wasn't quite right, but I don't think we can reset.

Adam:
This is your head!

[Touches ballistics gel]

Adam:
This is your head with an axe in it! Are we clear?

Adam:
Hand me the Jack Russell terrier urine. That'll do it!

Adam:
Turkey master, I hand you your bird!

Adam:
I'm not doing anything the Pakish wouldn't have done if they'd had a chainsaw.

[holds the live cast of Grant]

Salvatore:
It's little Imahara!

Jamie:
I think that was one of the most destructive things I've ever done. That was cool!

Adam:
[Adam laughs] We're escaping Alcatraz in Mach 1!

Jamie:
No wonder they couldn't find them. They're probably in Japan by now.

Adam:
[Drops a pastrami sandwich on the floor and picks it up again] Whoop, I picked it up after like three seconds, would you eat it?

Jamie:
I wouldn't eat it just because you've handled it.

Adam:
[pounding at Alcatraz raft loudly] Wait, was that a guard?

Adam:
[Stays silent for a few seconds] Nope!

Adam:
[Contiues pounding]

[discussing the lethality of paper-mache arrows]

Adam:
Just thinkin' this one through from a mechanical standpoint... I'd be totally pleased with two inches of penetration.

Jamie:
Generally, I prefer a little bit more.

Salvatore:
[after frying balistics gel Ben Franklin] Well, we killed a dead president.

Grant:
He was never president.

Salvatore:
He wasn't President? Damn it.

Jamie:
[while coffin is being closed in the Buried Alive myth] Farewell cruel world!

Jamie:
Aren't tracer rounds illegal?

Narrator:
[Jamie talks to Adam about his screwed up Hale rocket] Denial is a river in Africa.

Narrator:
[Adam extinguishes the bunker after a successful rocket test] Not so much as fire in the hole as fire in the whole shop!

Salvatore:
[Rubbing two sticks together but getting no embers] Shnike!

Narrator:
Seems like he's off the island too!

Jamie:
Well, as the myth suggests, William Thomson, aka Lord Kelvin, did indeed live during the Civil War era but he never claimed to have made liquid oxygen.

Adam:
And we're supposed to believe someone who was called Thomson but went around saying he was Lord Kelvin? "That's Lord Kelvin to you."

Kari:
[Kari makes the gun cotton for the confederate rocket myth] Ok, we're gonna add a half ounce of [Donkey sound] to ounce of [Rooster sound] slowly!

Narrator:
When you add donkey to rooster you get a violent reaction.

Kari:
[testing vodka as a poison oak remedy] I hope you don't have a date tonight. Showing up smelling like liquor with poison oak.

Salvatore:
[laughs] Works every time!

Kari:
[Jiggles two ballistics gel hands] My dastardly scheme, it's coming together!

Adam:
[Jamie pours gas into the pickup, Adam whistles] You really had to go.

Adam:
[Holds up a pig's head in front of his face] Jamie!

Jamie:
Yeah?

Adam:
Please don't fire bullets into my head!

Jamie:
Its only got one ear though.

Adam:
We don't need ears for testing lethality of bullets at terminal velocity man!

Adam:
[Holds a weather balloon] For science!

[Releases the weather balloon and it floats away]

Jamie:
[Points to the weather balloon] It's going that way!

[Adam laughs]

Adam:
You're a budding meteorologist Jamie!

[Jamie laughs]

Salvatore:
[mixing explosive chemicals in order to explode pants] Frank, why are you standing so far away?

Frank Hausman:
Because I want to live.

Salvatore:
I guess the second question is, why am I standing so close?

Salvatore:
If it's worth doing, it's worth overdoing, right?

Adam:
Do you actually have moods?

Jamie:
No.

Adam:
I think this is the strangest position I've ever been in on this show.

Kari:
[quietly] Notice how he qualifies it with "on this show".

Kari:
I think we have our exploding pants!

Kari:
You know, I promised my mom and dad I wouldn't do anything stupid after I got out of college. [whispers] Sorry, Mom.

Adam:
When a cameraman gives you a pat on the shoulder it must be really bad.

Adam:
[in cockney accent to a shotgun toting Jamie facing an oven door] Alright Jamie, here's your motivation: This oven door has run off with your wife, so you decide to gear-up and get even.

[Jamie accidentally shoots a fluorescent light with a nail gun]

Jamie:
Whoops! We should get out of here. That's mercury vapor.

Jamie:
[in anticipation of a massive explosion] Jamie wants big boom.

Jamie:
It's a beautiful day at the bomb range. Birds are singing, rabbits are hopping about... and pretty soon there's gonna be a big explosion.

Salvatore:
[being massaged for an episode on the effects of stress levels on driving] This is the best damn Mythbusters *ever*.

Adam:
Am I missing an eyebrow?

Kari Byron:
[Watching Adam and Jamie each alone in an Alaskan cabin] I thing I'm gonna go crazy before they are.

Kari:
[unloading Styrofoam soldiers] Drafted... drafted...

Salvatore:
Good thing you got a light infantry.

Grant:
Oh, how long you been saving that one?

Narrator:
Not long enough.

Kari:
[after all "Beat the Radar Detector" methods have failed] I think if you're going to get out of a ticket, short skirts and crying are still your best bet.

Jamie:
We came here to get a hole in the wall, and, darn it, we're gonna get a hole in the wall! When in doubt...C4! (chuckles)

Himself - Host:
That's what you call The Ghetto Dynamometer

Himself - Host:
I promise to show you something really cool, as long as you promise *not* to try it at home. Okay? Okay. Now, everyone wants to know why my voice sound higher when I inhale helium.

[inhales from balloon filled with helium]

Himself - Host:
[with high-pitched voice] The simple fact is that helium is six times less dense than air, which means sound waves travel through it much faster, which makes my voice sound much higher. Now, the same effect can be achieved in reverse if I inhale something like sulfur hexafluoride, which is six times *denser* than air. I inhale some of that...

[inhales sulfur hexafluoride from another balloon]

Himself - Host:
[now speaking in a deep satanic voice] And my voice gets really low, although somehow I'm still funny. It's scientific!

Himself - Host:

Host:
Often when Jamie goes into the jungle this is all he wears.

[referring to the pouch that holds the 1 kilo ball]

Tory Belleci:
[Tying up the end of a leather cannon] It's not the prettiest thing, but I think it will work.

Kari Byron:
That's what they said when they hired me.

Adam Savage:
[about to smash an empty bottle onto a model head] Is this the friend who made the joke about I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy.

Tory Belleci:
[Kari, Grant and Tory are about to testfire a sandstone cannonball] Now, let's see what sandstone is made of.

Kari Byron:
Sandstone.

Jamie:
Jamie wants big boom!

Adam:
Down, boy!

Jamie:
Any day we create that much shrapnel is a good day.

Host:
Look at this. It's a *cathedral*... of failure.

Adam:
Basically, now, I'm about to pour the dog wee onto the pile of baking soda, which, if the myth is correct, should cause a small explosion, or, if we're actually on Earth, should do absolutely bupkis.

[Jamie and Adam are at a park, trying to collect some dog pee]

Adam:
He was gonna go in my pans! You messed it all up!

Himself - Host:
Here, this will keep the spiders out of your eyes.

Himself - Host:
[after having tarantulas removed from his face] At least now I have an answer for "what is the worst thing you've ever done on the show".

Herself - Host:
That tasted like vomit!

Himself - Builder:
We'll pick a random volunteer.

Herself - Builder:
Not it.

Himself - Builder:
Not it.

Host:
This is where the danger zone happens. When nothing happens for a while, everyone's like "well, let's get closer... let's get closer... let's get closer..." BOOM! And everyone's dead.

Host:
So you're a rocket scientist, right?

Steve Harrington:
Yes, I teach the rocket propulsion class at San Diego State and I launch my own rockets.

Host:
Does being a rocket scientist help you pick up chicks?

Steve Harrington:
Unfortunately in the rocket science world they're not that many women and they're hunted to extinction.

Host:
Science plus beer... equals good!

Adam:
[after tiring out from climbing a building with suction cups] It's a good thing our motto is "Failure is Always an Option".

[Jamie is climbing an air duct using magnets, making a ton of noise in the process]

Adam:
Thor, the god of thunder, is trying to enter my building!

Adam:
Don't get all red faced.

Himself - Host:
I'm going to have to have a grinectomy.

Herself - Host:
Science is fun when I've got a bigger gun!

Tory Belleci:
This seems like the opposite of a good idea.

Himself - Host:
It's like your ass is one with the target.

Jamie:
[Opening Line] Remember, don't try this at home.

Adam:
We have years of experience that keep us safe. [Later in this episode, Adam sticks his lip into a running vacuum cleaner motor. Remember, don't try this at home!]

Narrator:
Is this the sound of a busted myth?

Narrator:
Just like Tigger, Adam does his best thinking bouncing.

Host:
All right, so I think the faulty wiring of the faulty wiring is no longer faulty, so that it's correctly faulty.

Jamie:
Our first stop is a hay store.

Adam:
Otherwise known as a "farm".

Tory Belleci:
Did somebody order some exploding pants?

Narrator - Europe:
The gang is now ready for a mythbusting favourite: cars completely out of control.

Narrator - Europe:
Tory is hard at work trying to impress the girls with his graceful bicycle ballet.

Scottie Chapman:
Do you smell that?

Kari Byron:
What's that?

Scottie Chapman:
Baaad things. Let's take him on till he hurts himself.

Kari Byron:
Yeah, looks like he cleared it. Go for it!

Salvatore Belleci:
Does it now!

Narrator - Europe:
Scottie's wish is Tory's command.

Scottie Chapman:
You wonder why you always see him getting hurt.

[Tory makes an approach to jump over a toy cart using Adam's bicycle and crashes when he hits the cart head on]

Kari Byron:
You know, when I woke up this morning I thought: what would I really wanna do? I wanna test Adam's poo.

Narrator - Europe:
That's the kind of thing they always regret saying.

Kari Byron:
I guess we don't have a Plan B because we kinda expected Plan A to go off without a hitch.

Adam Savage:
You should never ever ever expect Plan A to go off without a hitch. Usually for Jamie and I it is Plan D.

Narrator - Europe:
And car also goes out of control. That's NOT a brand new development.

Jamie Hyneman:
This is pure dumb luck if it works. And that is why I wanted Adam on it.

Narrator - Europe:
Adam's got his fingers crossed the shaft will snap this time around.

[Scottie closes her car door trapping Adam's fingers]

Narrator - Europe:
Pity he left those same fingers in Scottie's door.

Herself - Builder:
There's a writer's strike in my head.

Adam Savage:
I reject your reality, and substitute my own.

Himself - Host:
That one's pretty cleanly busted.

Himself - Host:
Yup. Busted with TNT.

Kari Byron:
[about her flying guillotine] Nine out of ten headless Frenchmen say it's the best.

Kari Byron:
[the knives of Grant's flying guillotine have just buried themselves in the test dummy] Now that's a pain in the neck!

Kari Byron:
[Kari, Grant and Tory are about to test their flying guillotines] Alright are you guys ready to... head off?

Grant Imahara:
Let's not get a head off ourselves.

Adam:

Jamie:

Himself - Host:
Retreat, robot!

Adam Savage:
If you think a refrigerator is going to contain an explosion, you're totally wrong. I'm sitting on the evidence.

Narrator:
Like a walrus on steroids, Jamie slowly inches up.

Himself - Host:
[working on wiring in car] Which one is it? The brown wire, the other brown wire, or the other OTHER brown wire?

[Adam has rattled himself by putting fire to a box filled with hydrogen]

Host:
...Okay?... Is everybody okay...?

Narrator:
Uh, fresh underwear for Mr. Savage, please.

Adam:
[to Jamie] My umbrella's gonna take you down!

Himself - Host:
Gotta say, seeing the car in the shop like that... little emotional.

Himself - Host:
Really?

Himself - Host:
Well, ten years ago we st an Impala up like this for the exact same stunt. We didnt' know what was ahead of us. It's... I have to admit I'm getting a little choked up.

Himself - Host:
You done?

Himself - Host:
We don't want you to get hurt, big guy. [giving him a hug]

Himself - Host:
Don't touch me.

Himself - Host:
Sorry.

Himself - Host:
Is that a rocket in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?

Herself - Host:
The butterflies are puking in my stomach.

Host:
[talking about the actual "barrels" that they borrowed from the movie Jaws] We're allowed to use them so long as we don't burn them, blow them up, or lose them.

Salvatore Belleci:
Has he not seen the show?

Kari:
The "Sharammer"!

Adam:
[When buying aluminum to make a jet pack] It's so light, I love it! *Laughs* I'm delirious from the sun! I love aluminum. [Looks into the camera] Aluminum... I love you.

Kari Byron:
Officer, would you open me a beer?

[after failing her drunk driving test]

Kari Byron:
Can't we stop using the word "failure" and just be like "I didn't succeed"?

[Kari, Adam and Tory are about to try out the brace position themselves]

Kari Byron:
I promised my Mom I wouldn't do anything dumb and unsafe again.

Kari:
[Looking through Thorny's collection] It's a Barbie steam engine.

Salvatore:
No, it a G.I. Joe steam engine

Kari:
[yelling at pottery trying to get it recorded] TORY!

Salvatore:
Now I know what it would be like if I was married to you.

Kari:
Barbie steam engine!

Salvatore:
No, it's a G. I. Joe steam engine.

Host:
Thanks, Dad! The toy every kid wants, a container ship! Now I can replicate international commerce.

[after getting sick from being lowered into a whirlpool]

Host:
Now... I'm done with science for today.

Herself - Host:
Now, this myth comes from the service industry. they say that if a woman can augment her female profile, she can significantly increase the amount of gratuity she receives.

Himself - Host:
You mean bigger breasts equals bigger tips.

Herself - Host:
Yes.

Himself - Host:
I can't wait to see that. For science.

[turning to the camera and raising an eyebrow on the last two words]

Narrator:
Today is Triple-D Day.

Builder:
How do you feel about high voltage shocks?

John Hunt:
[Laughs] On myself or others?

Narrator:
That's the right answer. John might actually make mind control material.

Host:
80 lbs. of gunpowder, 22 idiots, 1 crash-test dummy... priceless.

Salvatore:
[Referring to Kari who is goofing off] Not a lot going on upstairs, but god she's cute!

Narrator:
Adam, with friends like that who needs enemas?

Narrator:
Look at this. Isn't this so MythBusters? Jamie's truck, flanked by the bomb squad and the paramedics.

Himself - Host:
[in the swearing challenge] Sh*t! I mean, ship!

Adam:
[after shooting Ballistic Gel Grant in the left nostril. Laughs] I just shot Grant in the head!

[after accidentally shooting one of the shop's fluorescent lights]

Jamie:
Whoops! We should get out of here. That's mercury vapor.

Himself - Host:
Despite its popularity, the impala is proving as hard to procure as a jato rocket.

Himself - Host:
Unless something goes wrong on he first test, it makes me nervous, because that means something's gonna go wrong later.

Adam Savage:
[Heading into the darkened obstacle course] Let's PILLAGE!

[He runs in, closing the door behind him]

Salvatore:
I don't know if that's legal in California.

Adam Savage:
Wake up! Time for science!

Adam:
[going into obstacle course] LETS PILLAGE!

Salvatore:
I'm pretty sure thats illegal in California.

[Grant has been buried up to his neck in sand, in order to see if he can scape]

Herself - Builder:
Alright pirate, dig yourself out. I will be playing the part of the side. Oooh, splash splash.

Host:
Killer quicksand. Is that why I'm standing here in this stupid pith helmet?

Host:
No, you're standing there in that stupid pith helmet because you're an idiot.

Kari:
Don't ask me, I'm a vegetarian.

Host:
Next up: toaster.

[he places the toaster on the shelf over the bathtub, plugs in the cord and depresses the lever]

Host:
Smell the danger.

Narrator:
Turns out, there are two faults in the system: Adam and Jamie.

Adam:
[introducing myth] Killer quicksand. Is that why I'm standing here in this stupid pith helmet?

Jamie:
No, you're standing there in that stupid pith helmet because you're an idiot.

Adam:
This is not an un-dangerous thing to do.

Himself - Builder, Herself - Builder:
Yeehaw!

Himself - Builder:
What did you say?

Himself - Builder, Herself - Builder:

Adam:
Now that is the explosion I was looking for!

Adam:
This! Is! Sparky!

Himself - Host:
Pushing on these cars, it's actually kind of like sumo wrestling for cars. Which is a fun idea now that I think about it.

Himself - Host:
Don't mess with the Hyneman.

Adam:
[Everybody's looking around for cement truck parts after giant explosion] I left it right here!

Kari Byron:
World Wide Wrestling of Nerds!

Narrator:
As Adam hangs off the end of the forklift boom, Build Team member Tory makes a shocking discovery!

Salvatore Belleci:
[reading from a warning label] Warning: Do not lift personnel, do not use boom or attachment for lifting personnel. Lifting personnel may result in death or serious injury.

Salvatore Belleci:
[Shrugs] It's the Mythbuster way.

Narrator:
Sombreros, boots, and bandoleers. A desperately clich? battle looms between the tragically uncool, the undeniably hot... and these two idiots.

Grant:
[after a brief "gunfight" with Tory] Go ahead. Make my chili.

Adam:
[removes blindfold] Where are we?

Jamie:
We're right here.

Adam:
Can you blur out the love handles?

Himself - Host:
Oodaladeladeladehoooooo.

Himself - Host:
[tries again] Yodel!

Himself - Builder:
Stop the car! Stop the car! Stop the car!

Himself - Builder:
You took out the whole course!

Narrator:
It turns out that Grant's teenage years playing Pac-Man came in useful after all.

Narrator:
Adam loves the smell of dynamite in the morning.

Himself - Host:
All right, so what I have behind me is a frozen lake. I know it doesn't really look like it, it looks more like a snow field. We're at 7900 feet, the temperature is ten degrees, this is exactly what we need to test this myth. The only problem is we're in the middle of a snow storm and I'm freezing my ass off.

Herself - Host:
We tried creating an ice lake bed that we could shoot into back at home, but it did really take this sort of extreme weather for us to create a spinning bullet. It was all worth it: the seventy mile an hour wind, the ten degrees, the frozen toes, the Grantsicle.

Himself - Host:
[frozen, shivering, cursing profusely]

Builder:
Pump faster Grant.

Builder:
I'm pumping as fast as I can!

Adam:
[Before sliding down the Raccoon Rocket] It's like a secret escape hatch! [Said in a nerdy voice]

Adam:
I can't believe they let us back after tearing up their runway.

Jamie:
[laughs] We're the Mythbusters. You can't expect us to show up without something getting destroyed.

Adam Savage:
I like linear data.

Himself - Host:
I'm partial to exponential curves myself.

Tory Belleci:
Why are we doing this? This doesn't seem safe at all!

[Adam Savage is dressed in an prison-orange jump suit and steel-toed boots so he can try kicking out a car window as the car fills with water]

Narrator:
But the window doesn't crumble. If he had just carried out his community service sentence, he would have lived.

Himself - Builder:
