Gamilon Leader Desslok:
I can't stand a man who laughs at his own jokes.

Gamilon Leader Desslok:
Go ahead. Fire it. Fire the gun. I've been most anxious to see what this great weapon of yours can do, so... fire the gun...

Mark Venture:
But Doctor Sane, we don't know where we're going.

Doctor Sane:
Most people don't.

Mark Venture:
But I'm sure it's top secret and you shouldn't be here.

Doctor Sane:
Everybody's got to be someplace.

IQ9:
That's Doctor Sane. He's a little eccentric, about five degrees.

Captain Abraham Avatar:
Doctor Sane, would you mind leaving me alone for a while?

[Doctor Sane hesitates, but then turns around and opens the cabin door to leave]

Captain Abraham Avatar:
Doctor Sane?

[Doctor Sane stops in the doorway]

Captain Abraham Avatar:
Thank you.

[Doctor Sane leaves and shuts the door behind him]

Captain Abraham Avatar:
[watching Earth from space] I cannot bear to see what has become of Earth. Once green and growing with blue lakes and silver streams, great rivers and mighty seas - now all gone. Only dead and burning desert left. Radiation everywhere.

Narrator:
In the year 2199, planet Earth was facing extinction. In the mid 21st century, the mysterious planet Gamilon, a planet outside our solar system, declared war on all of Earth. These evil marauders of space, known for their ruthless warfare throughout the galaxy, bombarded Earth with deadly planet bombs. The surface of Earth became unlivable. People could only survive by moving to underground cities, far below the Earth surface. There was no defence against the bombing. Nations of the world fought as one against the Gamilons, but one by one, Earth space fleets were defeated. The Gamilons demanded total surrender, but the Earth defence command refused, so the Gamilons continued their attack. Now another danger lurks: the deadly radiation pollution caused by the bombs covers the Earth, and soon even the underground cities will no longer be safe, as day by day the radiation sinks deeper into the Earth. Earth is now hopelessly contaminated. In a year's time, all lives on earth will be extinct. Now, one last desperate battle between the Earth defence fleet and the Gamilons is being fought near the planet Pluto. Earth has only one space battleship left, commanded by Captain Avatar.

Captain Abraham Avatar:
This battleship alone, against such an evil as the Gamilons, we stand between them and Earth. We must prevail. We are Earth's last defence. Here at Pluto, we must make our stand!

Pilot:
A message from the Gamilon ship, sir: "Earth fleet, we advise you to surrender now." What shall I tell them?

Captain Abraham Avatar:
Tell them they're idiots!

Pilot:
What?

Captain Abraham Avatar:
I said - idiots!

Pilot:
This is the Earth flagship 225. Our answer: idiots! Over.

Narrator:
In the year 2199, Earth was under severe attack from the mysterious planet Gamilon. Gamilon planet bombs covered the Earth with radioactive pollution, and as a result, in one year's time Earth will be unlivable. But on the planet Iscandar there is a machine that can remove the radioactivity. Queen Starsha offers it to the people of Earth. A team of Star Blazers called the Star Force undertakes the perilous journey. But can the Star Force travel 148,000 light years and back in just one Earth year?

Narrator:
For one year now, Earth has been at peace. The Gamilons no longer threaten the galaxy. But unknown to Earth, a new danger lurks in the darkness of outer space: a seemingly harmless great white comet streaks across the sky, a comet so deadly that it threatens the universe, as it conquers and devours every sattelite and every planet it approaches. But it is not a natural comet. It's the Comet Empire - a huge, complex construction, made to resemble a comet. This evil empire has launched a campaign to conquer space. Planets of no value to its monstrous plan - it destroys. Those with resources and population it can exploit - it ruthlessly takes over. Now the Comet Empire is reaching out for Earth, a planet once again beautiful and thriving, after recovering from a deadly radioactivity caused by Gamilon's planet bombs. In the palace of the Comet Empire, evil Prince Zordar and Princess Invidia look down on Earth with greedy eyes.

Narrator:
The Star Force believe they have defeated the Comet Empire, until they see emerging from the ruins a gigantic new space fortress. Prince Zordar fights on.

[the space fortress opens fire at the defenceless Argo. The Argo is heavily damaged, nearly all its crew members are killed or severely injured. At the command bridge, Wildstar gets on his feet and rush to help Nova, who is lying on the floor]

Nova:
I'm alright.

[Wildstar smiles in relief to see Nova is unharmed, then they check on the others]

Derek Wildstar:
Homer! Eager!

[Wildstar and Nova rush to help Homer and Eager, who are lying motionless on the floor]

Homer:
[groans in pain] I'm alright... uhh...

Nova:
Eager is OK, Derek. He just had the wind knocked out of him.

[mercilessly, as if it has not done enough damage, the space fortress unleashes second volley of missiles at the Argo, inflicting more damage. Dash enters the engine room, and is shocked to see so many dead bodies. An explosion knocks him on the floor. Orion tries to pull himself up, but he is too weak, and collapses dead. At the command bridge, Zordar's face appear on the screen, laughing viciously]

Prince Zordar:
Ha-ha-ha! Fools! Are you ready to give up? Star Force, can't you see it's useless? You're beaten. There is no power greater than mine. You are nothing. I hold the whole universe in the palm of my hand. I just close my hand, and the planets crumble, the stars shatter. What chance does your planet Earth have? It's a cosmic joke. Ha-ha-ha!

[hearing this, Wildstar grits his teeth in rage. The space fortress gets away from the Argo, heading for earth]

Prince Zordar:
[musing to himself] I should have taken command long ago. Dire and Gorse, even Invidia, still have a lot to learn.

Prince Zordar:
[aloud] Ready main guns! Planet Earth is the target!

[the fortress aims its giant plasma cannon at Earth]

Prince Zordar:
Fire!

[the space fortress shoots at Earth, incinerating lands and seas. Cities full of people are destroyed instantly]

Earth Commander:
[watches helplessly at the mass destruction] Such evil! Such madness!

[at the burning Argo, Wildstar, Nova, Homer and Eager helplessly watch how Earth being gradually destroyed, unable to do anything]

Derek Wildstar:
[musing] Zordar must be stopped! But how?

[Trelaina is treating Venture]

Trelaina:
You will live, Mark. Dear Mark, you must live. My life force will bring you back. Mark, come back. My love for you is strong, strong enough to bring you back. My life force will always be a bond between us. No matter what happens, we'll always be together.

Trelaina:
[whimpering] Mark!

[to Trelaina's surprise, Venture's fingers twitch. His lips move a bit]

Trelaina:
You're alive! You're going to live again! My life force is working, Mark. It's bringing you back to me!

[Trelaina places her head on Venture's chest]

Trelaina:
No, not to me, my darling. To life, to love, to be, to your Earth. Your dear Earth that must be saved!

Trelaina:
[smiles sadly] You must return to Earth, and I cannot go with you, my darling. But our love will always be.

[Trelaina looks at the burning Argo]

Trelaina:
Star Force! Mark, it's the Star Force, and it's in danger!

[IQ-9 enters the command bridge of the Argo]

IQ-9:
I have to report the existing condition. The damage to the ship will cause more explosions. We must evacuate wounded.

Derek Wildstar:
Nova, check the number of wounded.

Nova:
Roger.

Dr. Sane:
[enters] We have 18 wounded, including Sandor. We're all ready to evacuate them in the rescue ships.

Derek Wildstar:
OK. Please evacuate the crew in the rescue ships too.

Dr. Sane:
And what about you?

Derek Wildstar:
[evasively] Well... I... sure, I'm coming along too.

[Nova stares at Wildstar, guessing his intention]

Derek Wildstar:
Com'n. I'm taking Homer, and you get Eager.

[Wildstar picks Homer]

Dr. Sane:
Alright.

[the wounded are being taken to the rescue ships]

Homer:
[mumbling] Wildstar... Wildstar...

Nova:
Don't worry, Homer. He's alright.

[the first rescue ship takes off to Earth. The second ship is ready to pick the rest of the crew. Wildstar carries Sandor on his back to the ship]

Derek Wildstar:
I never thought this would happen! Never!

Sandor:
Don't give up! You know, we should remember what Desslok said.

Derek Wildstar:
Desslok?

Sandor:
He said as long as he lived, Gamilon lived. Well, as long as we live, Earth lives. If we have to, we'll find another planet to live on. That's what we live for, Wildstar.

Dr. Sane:
C'mon, this is the last rescue ship!

Derek Wildstar:
Where's Nova?

Dr. Sane:
[looks around, puzzled] Eh... she was here just a minute ago.

IQ-9:
She must have left in the other ship with Homer.

Dr. Sane:
I guess so.

Derek Wildstar:
[brings Sandor into the rescue ship] That's everybody, then.

Dr. Sane:
Coming?

Derek Wildstar:
I want to thank you for everything you've done, Doc.

Dr. Sane:
[smiles] C'mon, Wildstar. You've done all you can here. The Argo has served us well. Now Earth needs us.

Derek Wildstar:
You're so right, Doc. OK, let's hurry. We'd better take off right away.

[Wildstar and Dr. Sane enter the ship. Wildstar approaches the control panel and switches it to automatic pilot]

IQ-9:
No! Wildstar! You locked the control!

[as the ship takes off, Wildstar exits by the open door, closes it and floats back to the Argo]

IQ-9:
Stop him, Doctor!

Dr. Sane:
Wildstar!

IQ-9:
The gear is set on automatic pilot. We can't stop!

[from inside the ship, Dr. Sane looks helplessly through the window at Wildstar who landed back on the Argo]

Dr. Sane:
Wildstar!

[Wildstar, calmly standing alone on the burning Argo, salutes at the rescue ship which heads for Earth. He looks fondly at the burning Argo]

Derek Wildstar:
[muses] We're going to win. You and I!

[Wildstar enters the command bridge]

Derek Wildstar:
And now, all I have to do is say goodbye to what has been my home so long, and to you...

[Wildstar looks at the image of Captain Avatar]

Derek Wildstar:
...who've been like a father to me.

[Wildstar looks at the image of Captain Avatar]

Derek Wildstar:
This is hard. Captain, I know what the Argo meant to you. It was your home, and it was home to the Star Force. The Argo is a proud ship, and I'm sending her on her last mission, from which she'll never return.

[unable to restrain his emotions, Wildstar falls on his knees, whimpering]

Derek Wildstar:
It's the only thing I can do to save planet Earth.

Derek Wildstar:
[stands] I know to some, the Argo was just a ship. But she's more than that to us. She's the spirit of the Star Force, and she'll do what must be done. It's a hard duty, Captain Avatar, but if Earth is to survive - it must be done.

[Wildstar smiles]

Derek Wildstar:
She'll go with honor, I promise. A great ship!

[to Wildstar's surprise, Nova enters the room]

Derek Wildstar:
Nova!

Nova:
Did you think I would let you do it alone, Derek? I saw you from the escape capsule on the airlock. What's your plan?

Derek Wildstar:
I'm going to ram Zordar's ship with the Argo!

Nova:
And then escape?

Derek Wildstar:
When we're close enough, I'll set the automatic pilot, and we'll escape - together.

Nova:
You were going to do all that alone, with no one to help you?

[Wildstar stares at Nova, gaping]

Nova:
The Star Force is a group. You know that. And I knew what you were planning to do was dangerous, or you wouldn't have everyone evacuated. I'm right, aren't I? And I wanted to help you, but mostly I wanted to be with you.

Derek Wildstar:
[smiles] Oh, I'm glad, Nova!

Nova:
I couldn't go... not without you. And I wanted to help you.

[tears fill Nova's eyes]

Nova:
I love you!

[Nova rushes to Wildstar's arms, whimpering. Wildstar gently hugs her]

Derek Wildstar:
Nova... Nova, we haven't had much time together. It doesn't mean I don't love you. But soon, when this is done, we'll spend the rest of our lives together. Nova, you are going to marry me?

Nova:
[raises her head, smiling] Oh, Derek!

[Wildstar and Nova enter the command bridge]

Nova:
I'm your co-pilot, Derek.

Derek Wildstar:
[smiling at Nova] I'm glad you stayed, Nova. It'll bring us luck. Target: Zordar's spaceship. Argo, make us proud!

[Wildstar pulls the throttle. The engines start, and the heavily-damaged Argo heads for the space fortress. Suddenly, bright light illuminates the command bridge]

Derek Wildstar:
What...?

Nova:
Trelaina!

[Trelaina materializes in front of the Argo, carrying Venture - unconscious but alive]

Nova:
Trelaina!

Derek Wildstar:
Venture!

Trelaina:
Wildstar, I have come to return Mark to you.

Derek Wildstar:
How is he? Venture!

Trelaina:
I have brought Mark back to life, but he needs more care. You must take him back to Earth for that. I've done all I can.

Derek Wildstar:
But, Trelaina...

Nova:
Trelaina, can you take Mark back to Earth?

Trelaina:
[sadly] I can't. It's not possible, Nova. Even with the power I have, I cannot go to your Earth. You must take him. He needs you. He is of Earth, and I am not.

Derek Wildstar:
[stands] No, Trelaina. Now that you saved his life, you can't leave him!

Nova:
Trelaina, you must know how much Mark loves you!

Trelaina:
I know that. But I must bring him back to you.

[Trelaina teleports onto the command bridge. Wildstar and Nova rush to her. She gently puts Venture on the floor]

Trelaina:
Please, take care of him.

[Wildstar and Nova kneel beside Venture]

Derek Wildstar:
But Trelaina, the ship isn't going back to Earth!

Trelaina:
I know what you plan to do. You need not sacrifice the Argo. I will fight Zordar.

[Wildstar and Nova stare at Trelaina, gaping]

Derek Wildstar:
Trelaina, you've already done so much for us. You sacrificed your planet Telezart in order to stop Prince Zordar!

Trelaina:
[stands] My work is not done. I must change the evil power of Prince Zordar. My love for Mark makes it more important than ever to save Earth. I wish I could explain more to you. There are great powers in the universe - unknown and unseen. I am just one small part of that great life force. Earth can be the embodiment of Good, but it must live on to fulfill that destiny.

Derek Wildstar:
Treleina...

Trelaina:
Derek, it is time for me to go. A part of me stays with Mark and with you and Nova... and with your dear Earth... that place where all that is good can live, and grow, and reach out to the universe [Trelain's image glows and gradually fading, her voice echoing] Goodbye... goodbye, Derek and Nova, and please tell Mark how much I loved him... how much I loved him... how much I loved him...

[Trelaina disappears]

[the space fortress continues relentlessly to blast Earth. Prince Zordar watches Earth, laughing viciously]

Prince Zordar:
Ha-ha-ha! Fools! You idiot Earthlings! Now you know what pain is!

[Treleina materializes in front of the space fortress. Zordar's expression changes to horror, sweat covers his face]

Prince Zordar:
[horrified] Trelain!

Trelaina:
Zordar, I came because you need me.

Prince Zordar:
Cease firing! Reverse course - immediately!

[the space fortress turns away from Earth, trying to escape from Trelaina, but to no avail]

Trelaina:
You need to learn, Zordar. A new way, another way.

Prince Zordar:
[pushes the pilot aside, taking his place] Let me have the control!

Trelaina:
You have misused your power. I am here to return you to the cosmos.

[Zordar yells in fear and anger. Then, with bright flash of light, Trelaina creates an giant explosion of antimatter upon the space fortress, destroying it. No sign is left of Trelaina or the fortress]

[last lines of season 2]

[from the Argo, Wildstar and Nova sadly watch how Trelaina and the space fortress are destroyed. Nova weeps. Venture is still unconscious, but alive]

Derek Wildstar:
Goodbye, Treleina. And thank you - for everything, for saving Venture, for loving Earth so much

[Wildstar bows his head, a tear flows from his eye]

Derek Wildstar:
It's true we can't understand. But it's not important. Your love has saved Earth!

[the Argo, severely damaged, slowly returns to Earth]

Narrator:
[summarizing the previous episodes] Planet Earth has been forced to surrender to the Comet Empire. But the Star Force will not give up. Speeding to the aid of Earth, they were once again attacked by Desslok. But the Star Forced rammed his ship and boarded it. Now, Wildstar, badly wounded, goes to meet Desslok face to face.

[In Desslok's flagship, Wildstar climbs the stairs leading to the command bridge, his right shoulder injured and bleeding, pistol drawn. Outside the ship, the fight between the Gamilons and the Earthers still goes on. Nova manages to sneak into the interior of the ship, looking for Wildstar]

Nova Forrester:
Derek? Derek, where are you? Derek!

[Wildstar catches Desslok and General Talan by surprise, as they are about to abandon ship]

Derek Wildstar:
[points his pistol at Desslok] Desslok, why are you fighting us now? Before you had a reason: Gamilon was doomed [gasps in pain] You needed a new home. We had to fight you to defend Earth. But this is all past now. Why go on fighting?

[From the staircase, Nova watches the scene in horror. She remains hidden, lest she distracts Wildstar in this critical moment]

Gamilon Leader Desslok:
[smiles] You, of all people, should understand this. A man who fights for his homeland - fights on, even when there is no home. Isn't that what you are doing now? Your Earth has surrendered to the Comet Empire. Yet the Star Force goes on fighting. Yes, that's what I've done. As long as I live and fight, then Gamilon lives.

Derek Wildstar:
But the fight between Gamilon and Earth is over. Why are taking the side of the Comet Empire? They're not fighting for their own home, only for conquest, for... [gasps in pain] power. Why go on fighting?

Gamilon Leader Desslok:
Oh, no. It's too late. Get ready!

Gamilon General Talan:
Sir!

[General Talan steps forward, but Desslok halts him, intending to fight Wildstar himself. Desslok pushes his cloak back, then draws his pistol very slowly. Wildstar struggles to keep aiming his gun at Desslok. Nova watches, her face lit by the explosions outside. Desslok lifts his hand up and backward. Blood pours from Wildstar's injured shoulder. His vision clouds as Desslok points his gun at him]

Gamilon Leader Desslok:
Shoot, Wildstar [his expression toughens, as Wildstar's hand trembles] eh?

[Weakened by loss of blood, Wildstar let the gun drop and collapses on the floor semiconscious, at the mercy of his ruthless archenemy who destroyed so many lives on Earth]

Nova Forrester:
[Crying in fear, she rushes forward, her helmet slips off her head] Derek! Derek!

[Nova throws herself on Wildstar, shielding him with her body. She picks his gun with both hands and points it at Desslok. Desslok points his gun at her. For a moment they freeze in this pose. Then Nova's eyes fill with tears, her hands shaking. She drops the gun and turns back to Wildstar]

Nova Forrester:
[hugging Wildstar] Derek! Derek! Derek, I'm here. It's alright. I'll take care of you. Don't worry, darling, we're together. It's alright. Don't worry. I'm here. It's alright. It's alright now.

[Desslok watches quietly the two lovers, who are at his mercy, defenceless. He can easily finish them both, but, to General Talan's surprise, he lowers his gun, strange expression of his face]

Derek Wildstar:
[painfully] Our Earth... our dear Earth... what's to become of her?

[Nova sobs, hugging Wildstar closer]

Gamilon Leader Desslok:
[in quiet voice] Wildstar, I see now. Something I could never let myself see... yes. I thought I was different from everyone else. That my love for Gamilon was stronger and more noble than your love for Earth. Yes, the universe has been a lonely place for me. Always alone. All I've had has been my love for Gamilon. Yes, I fought hard and long to save Gamilon. I thought anything I did was right. Maybe I would do it again, but I don't think so. There has to be better way of love. Yes, I've seen the two of you loving each other and Earth, too. Love is the first casualty of war. Oh yes, I know. War does not allow us to be our better selves. To fight well, you must be hard and tough, never doubting your leaders, never questioning. But some day war must end. Now. Yes, we can make a start - today [holsters his gun] Talan, we're going.

Gamilon General Talan:
Yes, sir!

[Desslok approaches Nova. She gasps in horror]

Gamilon Leader Desslok:
Remember how you defeated me on Gamilon? You sent missiles to our weakest spot, the bottom of the volcanos... underneath. Try it [chuckles] on the Comet Empire.

[Desslok picks Wildstar's pistol, offers it to Nova, gently places it in Nova's palm. Nova stares at him in amazement]

Gamilon Leader Desslok:
Goodbye. I hope we meet again.

[Desslok and Talan leave. Shortly afterwards, Nova hears faints voices calling her and Wildstar. Knox, Dr. Sane and couple of the Star Force members enter the room. Outside, the Gamilons cease fire and leave Desslok's flagship in their ships, following their leader. Wildstar is brought back safely to the Argo and is given medical treatment]

[at the medical ward, Dr. Sane finished treating Wildstar's injury]

Dr. Sane:
[smiles, wiping his forehead] Phew! Well, that'll do it.

[Wildstar opens his eyes, sighing]

Nova:
Oh, Derek... you are going to be alright.

[Nova falls on Wildstar's bed, sobbing in joy]

Derek Wildstar:
Nova...

[Dr. Sane winks to IQ-9, motions him to follow him. They exit, leaving the two lovers alone]

[Wildstar enters the command bridge, Nova supports him. Everyone turn and look at them]

Derek Wildstar:
What are you all standing around for? We should be on our way back to Earth.

[Wildstar notices that Mark Venture's seat is empty]

Derek Wildstar:
Venture... where's Venture? Don't tell me he...

Nova Forrester:
[sobbing] He... he was trying to protect me, Derek.

[Hearing this, Wildstar is overwhelmed by grief. He approaches his best friend's empty seat and stares at it]

Sandor:
Wildstar...

[Sandor puts his hand on Wildstar's shoulder, nodding in sympathy. Wildstar whimpers]

Sandor:
Ok, everyone, let's get ready to go. I'll take care of the repair work.

Homer:
Wildstar! I just overheard the message from Earth headquarters. Earth is expecting to sign the papers of the unconditional surrender.

[hearing this, Wildstar awakes from mourning. His expression toughens]

Derek Wildstar:
Homer, tell the main staff to meet at the operations room. Immediately!

Homer:
Yes, sir!

[Wildstar looks at the image of Captain Avatar, knowing that it is time for battle]

[the staff is gathered at the operations room]

Derek Wildstar:
Sandor, how is the repair work going?

Sandor:
The work on the hull will be completed in three hours.

Derek Wildstar:
Then we will be able to take off!

Sandor:
Yes, but we can't repair the Wave Motion Gun. It was too badly damaged when we rammed into Desslok's ship. It will take weeks to get it repaired properly.

Dash:
Our main guns, too. No. 1 and no. 3 guns are very badly damaged.

Sandor:
All we have are torpedos.

Sergeant Knox:
[waves his fist angrily] What good are just torpedos against the Comet Empire?

[everyone fall into silence, considering possible solutions]

Nova Forrester:
Remember? Desslok said "the bottom".

Derek Wildstar:
Huh? What did you say, Nova? The bottom?

Nova Forrester:
Just before Desslok left, he said we defeated him on Gamilon by sending missiles to his most vulnerable point - the bottom of the volcanos. He said you should attack the Comet Empire the same way.

Derek Wildstar:
[gasps] So that's it! Dash, get the plan of the Comet Empire.

[Dash places the image of the Comet Empire on the floor. Everyone watch it carefully]

Sandor:
[rubbing his chin] Hmmm... what did he mean? Where at the bottom should we attack it?

Derek Wildstar:
Captain Gideon said the same thing, remember? "Attack it from the bottom".

Sandor:
That's right!

Orion Sr.:
All we have are torpedos!

Derek Wildstar:
And that's what we'll use. The Comet Empire is in the water. Conroy, Hardy - you lead a Black Tigers attack on the top side as a diversion.

Conroy, Hardy:
Yes, sir!

Derek Wildstar:
IQ-9, you pilot the ship.

IQ-9:
Yes, sir, captain!

Derek Wildstar:
We're going to submerge and attack the Comet Empire with torpedos. OK? This is going to be our last battle, right?

[Everyone raising their hands in approval, exclaim "Right!". The Argo moves away from Desslok's flagship, on its way to Earth for the final battle]

[meanwhile, Venture's body still floats dead in space. Suddenly bright light appears, in shape of Treleina. Soon Venture's body is placed on bed, Treleina kneels beside him, pressing his hand to her cheek]

Treleina:
Dear Mark... I knew we would be together some day. Mark... but not like this. My power... it means nothing now. I would give it all up if I could bring you back to life, my love, even if we had to part again. I don't understand why or how I found you again. Surely it was meant to be, and if so - surely you were meant to live.

[tear flows from Treleina's eye and lands on Venture's palm. His eyelids move a bit, to Treleina's amazement]

Treleina:
Mark...

[Venture's eyelids move again, and his mouth opens slightly]

Treleina:
Mark... Mark... Mark, please, oh please wake up. Look at me. Oh Mark, oh Mark, dear Mark, please wake up, please.

[Treleina puts her head on Venture's chest, weeping]

[while Earth leaders are ready to surrender to the Comet Empire, the Argo rapidly nearing Earth]

Nova Forrester:
We will enter the ionosphere in 60 seconds.

Sandor:
Conversion to underwater operation completed.

Derek Wildstar:
IQ-9, how're you doing?

IQ-9:
Very well, sir. And the ship is functioning fine, too.

[the Argo descends through the clouds]

[as the surrender party sails to the Comet Empire, the Argo emerges through the clouds]

Nova Forrester:
Altitude - 73,000... 72,000...

Homer:
Wildstar! It's the surrender party. Their boat has just left the dock!

Derek Wildstar:
[thinks] Hmmm... maybe we can defeat the Comet Empire before they sign the surrender.

[Prince Zordar, overconfident of his seemingly-certain victory on Earth, drinks a toast]

Prince Zordar:
So, Dire, the surrender party is on its way?

Comet Empire Gen. Dire:
Yes, sir. The prime minister and two generals are delegated to sign the papers.

Prince Zordar:
[chuckles nastily] Very good. Dire, I leave you in charge of the reception committee. Be nice to them. They're probably quite depressed.

Comet Empire Gen. Dire:
[bows] Yes, but they'll get used to it.

[on the Argo]

Eager:
[watching the monitor] The Comet Empire is in the great eastern sea, 30 kilometers from the Capital.

Derek Wildstar:
[nods] Black Tigers, take off!

[the Black Tigers launch on their way to the Comet Empire]

Derek Wildstar:
IQ-9, bring the ship down to the water without being detected by the enemy's radar.

IQ-9:
Yes, sir, captain!

Derek Wildstar:
Homer, where is the surrender party ship?

Homer:
They're expected to arrive at the Comet Empire in 5 minutes.

Derek Wildstar:
Ready torpedoes!

Dash:
Ready torpedoes!

[as the surrender party ship nearly arrives at the Comet Empire, a message is received from the Argo]

Earth Commander:
You say it's a message from the Star Force? Read it.

Officer:
Yes, sir. The Star Force will begin an all-in attack on the Comet Empire 0800 hours Earth time. Please clear the battle area of all Earth ships at once.

General Stone:
Oh, no. It is much too late. Commander, order the Star Force to stop.

Earth Commander:
They won't stop!

General Stone:
What?

Earth Commander:
They won't listen to us. The Star Force would never surrender!

General Stone:
They can't do it. You know why we accepted the unconditional surrender!

Earth Commander:
Return to the port!

General Stone:
Commander...

Earth Commander:
It's the last chance we have. It's up to them, the Star Force!

[the Argo submerges, while the Black Tigers fly in attack formation]

Conroy:
We're at 35,000. Ready to start out attack. Target: Comet Empire headquarters. Go!

[Conroy starts the attack, and the other Black Tigers follow, while the surrender party ship reverses and sails back to the port]

[at Zordar's throne room]

Comet Empire Gen. Dire:
The ship carrying the surrender party has reversed its course!

Comet Empire Gen. Gorse:
That's ridiculous. It doesn't make any sense!

Comet Empire soldier:
[comes in hurry, saluting Zordar] We've just confirmed: enemy planes at 30,000 kilometers!

Comet Empire Gen. Dire:
No! Idiots!

Homer:
18 kilometers to the Comet Empire!

[the torpedo hatches are opened]

Argo engineer:
Torpedo no. 1, ready to fire any time.

Argo engineer:
Torpedo no. 2, all set.

Orion Sr.:
Torpedo no. 3, all set to fire.

Derek Wildstar:
All torpedoes - ready to fire. Target: Comet Empire!

[last lines]

Narrator:
The Star Force is determined to defeat the Comet Empire. Can they alone destroy this evil empire, or is Earth fated to become the next victim of Prince Zordar and its Comet Empire?

Gamilon Leader Desslok:
Love is the first casualty of war.

[first lines of season 3]

Narrator:
A Nebula in the great Galaxy. It has a diameter of 100,000 light years. It is 15,000 light years thick. It contains more than one billion fixed stars. In this Nebula, as in all others, new stars are born and old stars die. Although the Universe itself may be immortal, each star in the Cosmos has its own fate. Born of cosmic dust, it can return to cosmic dust. The planet Earth is no exception. Now Earth is threatened with extinction not in the Universe's natural scheme of life and death, but by a powerful and seemingly invincible force of evil meant on the destruction of our entire Solar System.

[the Argo crew gets into battle positions. Wildstar notices the artificial sun]

Derek Wildstar:
Hey Eager, keep your eyes on that sun up there.

Eager:
What? What's wrong with the sun?

Derek Wildstar:
No time to explain. I just got a hunch. I'll tell you later.

Eager:
OK, whatever you say, but I don't need any more freckles.

[first lines of the series]

Captain Abraham Avatar:
[watching Earth from space] I cannot bear to see what has become of Earth. Once green and growing with blue lakes and silver streams, great rivers and mighty seas - now all gone. Only dead and burning desert left. Radiation everywhere.

Narrator:
In the year 2199, planet Earth was facing extinction. In the mid 21st century, the mysterious planet Gamilon, a planet outside our solar system, declared war on all of Earth. These evil marauders of space, known for their ruthless warfare throughout the galaxy, bombarded Earth with deadly planet bombs. The surface of Earth became unlivable. People could only survive by moving to underground cities, far below the Earth surface. There was no defence against the bombing. Nations of the world fought as one against the Gamilons, but one by one, Earth space fleets were defeated. The Gamilons demanded total surrender, but the Earth defence command refused, so the Gamilons continued their attack. Now another danger lurks: the deadly radiation pollution caused by the bombs covers the Earth, and soon even the underground cities will no longer be safe, as day by day the radiation sinks deeper into the Earth. Earth is now hopelessly contaminated. In a year's time, all lives on earth will be extinct. Now, one last desperate battle between the Earth defence fleet and the Gamilons is being fought near the planet Pluto. Earth has only one space battleship left, commanded by Captain Avatar.

Captain Abraham Avatar:
This battleship alone, against such an evil as the Gamilons, we stand between them and Earth. We must prevail. We are Earth's last defence. Here at Pluto, we must make our stand!

Earth ship Pilot:
A message from the Gamilon ship, sir: "Earth fleet, we advise you to surrender now". What shall I tell them?

Captain Abraham Avatar:
Tell them they're idiots!

Earth ship Pilot:
What?

Captain Abraham Avatar:
I said - idiots!

Earth ship Pilot:
This is the Earth flag ship 225. Our answer: Idiots! Over.

Narrator:
Earth has surrendered to the Comet Empire, but the Star Force fights on. On the submerged Argo, Derek Wildstar starts his undersea torpedo attack on the Comet Empire, while the Black Tigers, headed by Conroy, prepare an aerial attack from above.

[the Star Force starts the attack on the Comet Empire]

Derek Wildstar:
Target: Comet Empire. Conroy, Black Tigers - start your attack on the Comet Empire!

Conroy:
Roger, Wildstar. We're starting our attack now. Go!

[Conroy leads the Black Tigers to attack. They open fire on the Comet Empire from above, causing it massive damage]

Comet Empire Gen. Dire:
Prince Zordar, Earth is fighting back. They must have decided not to surrender to the Comet Empire. This is treachery of the worst kind. They just pretended to surrender!

Prince Zordar:
[frowns] Hmmm...

Princess Invidia:
It's because of the Star Force. They're the ones who are fighting on!

[Invidia gasps in horror as the explosions feel the screen]

Princess Invidia:
Ho no!

Comet Empire Gen. Dire:
What happened? What did they hit?

Comet Empire soldier:
General Dire! The enemy plane attack has damaged the control center of the Comet Empire city!

Comet Empire Gen. Dire:
What?

Comet Empire Gen. Gorse:
Then we must teach these Earthlings a lesson. If we wipe out their planes now, they'll never dare raise their heads again!

Princess Invidia:
Yes! If we don't break them now, we'll always have trouble with them!

Prince Zordar:
The resistance is futile. It's just the death struggle of a defeated planet. We'll show them what happens to those who oppose us!

[while the Black Tigers bomb the Comet Empire from above, the submerged Argo fires torpedos at its bottom. The torpedos hit the target, causing severe damage. The explosions shake the whole Comet Empire]

Princess Invidia:
Now what has happened?

Comet Empire soldier:
The lower section has just been hit by four enemy torpedos!

Princess Invidia:
[gasps in horror] What did you say?

Comet Empire Gen. Gorse:
Where did they come from?

Princess Invidia:
You see, it is the Star Force!

Comet Empire Gen. Dire:
It's submerged in the sea and it's firing at us from there!

Princess Invidia:
[clutches her fists] Why didn't Desslok defeat them?

Prince Zordar:
[musing, terrible suspicion crawls into his mind] What made the Star Force think of attacking us from beneath like that? Where did they get them that idea?

Prince Zordar:
[aloud] We're going up!

[the Comet Empire rises from the sea. Its weapons return fire, destroying several of the Black Tigers]

Conroy:
Attention, Black Tigers! Pull back and regroup!

[the Black Tigers fly away from the Comet Empire. Meanwhile, at the Argo:
]

Derek Wildstar:
[watches the Comet Empire rise from the sea] Hmmm... prepare to surface!

IQ-9:
Emptying tanks. We're going up!

Derek Wildstar:
Ready wave motion engines! As soon as we surface - we attack!

[the Argo comes out of the sea and heads for the Comet Empire. The Black Tigers join it in attack formation]

[on Earth, large crowd has gathered at the city, hopefully watching the Star Force, cheering]

Earth Commander:
Star Force, you're our only hope.

Crowd member no. 1:
Hurray for the Star Force!

Crowd member no .2:
We knew you'd do it, Star Force!

Kid:
Star Force! Please! I knew you'd come back to help us.

[the Argo gets closer to the Comet Empire, in search for the weak spot Desslok mentioned. The Black Tigers engage in fight with the Comet Empire fighters. The Comet Empire shoots at the Argo, killing Royster and several more of the Argo crew members. At last Sandor sees it]

Sandor:
[points] Oh... there it is! That opening has be the weak spot Desslok meant. See where the planes are coming out? We can get into the Comet Empire through that opening.

Derek Wildstar:
Alright, Sandor. We're going to invade the Comet Empire and destroy its energy center. Dash, I want you to shoot at the mechanism of the opening. Make sure you do it when the gates are open.

Dash:
Roger!

[Knox and the Marines enter]

Sergeant Knox:
Hey, Wildstar... this is a job for the Space Marines!

Derek Wildstar:
We can use you, Space Marines. It's going to be a tough job.

Sergeant Knox:
[smiles] What are you trying to do, Wildstar? Scare us off?

Sandor:
Hey! Count me in!

Derek Wildstar:
You're sure?

Sandor:
[puts his hand on Wildstar's shoulder] You need somebody to figure out where the energy center is.

Derek Wildstar:
[nods in approval] Second squadron of Black Tigers, get ready to take off!

[Wildstar, Sandor and the others enter the planes]

Derek Wildstar:
Black Tigers, take off! Ready!

[the Black Tigers take off, flying to the secret opening. The Comet Empire weapon systems shoot at them, hitting Hardy's plane. He salutes Wildstar and then crashes into the underside of the Comet Empire. Wildstar barely suppresses whimpering. The Argo opens fire, exploding the opening for the Black Tigers]

Derek Wildstar:
Dash has fixed the opening for us! Let's go all in!

[the Black Tigers invade the Comet Empire via the blasted opening]

[after invading the Comet Empire, Wildstar and the others land and exit their planes, engaging in shoot-out with the Comet Empire soldiers. The pilots remain by the planes, while Wildstar, Sandor, Knox and several Marines rush along the corridor. They are seen by Invidia, Gorse and Dire via surveillance cameras]

Comet Empire Gen. Gorse:
Now that's their idea of invasion force.

Comet Empire Gen. Dire:
We'd better seal off the entrance to the energy center course.

Princess Invidia:
Why bother? There are so few of them, Dire. Hardly a threat. Alert the guards at the 5th section.

Comet Empire Gen. Gorse:
[starts to walk away] We'd better report it to Prince Zordar.

Princess Invidia:
Wait, Gorse! That's not necessary. We can handle them.

[Wildstar, Sandor and Knox jump into moving garbage bucket in order to reach the upper level. Their feet sink in ankle-high garbage]

Sergeant Knox:
[smiles] If I'd known we were gonna travel in garbage, I'd have worn my rubber boots. After this, the enemy can smell us coming!

[on the way to the energy center, automatic defence system shoots at them and severs Sandor's bionic leg below the knee]

Derek Wildstar:
Sandor!

[Wildstar pulls Sandor to safety]

Derek Wildstar:
Are you alright?

Sandor:
I'm fine.

[guards appear and open fire. Knox returns fire]

Sandor:
My bionic leg is gone, Wildstar, and until I get a new one - I won't be able to walk. You and Knox go on from here, and blow up the energy center. I'll stay here and hold off these guys for you.

Derek Wildstar:
[nods] OK, Sandor, we'll do. Knox, let's go!

Sergeant Knox:
OK!

[Wildstar and Knox go. Sandor opens fire at the guards]

Princess Invidia:
What? They got to the energy controls?

Comet Empire Gen. Dire:
This is getting serious. Maybe Prince Zordar...

Princess Invidia:
No! We can handle this ourselves. There is no need to trouble my father with...

Prince Zordar:
[enters] What's going on, Invidia?

Princess Invidia:
[gasps in horror] Oh!

Prince Zordar:
What are you doing? Up to your usual tricks?

Princess Invidia:
[fearfully] I... I... I...

[Wildstar and Knox reach the energy center. Knox contacts Sandor]

Sergeant Knox:
Sandor, Wildstar and I are in the energy control center. I'm ready to set the explosives.

Sandor:
Place them as high as you possible can, Knox, and be sure to connect the fuse, or it won't go off and this will be a wasted trip.

Sergeant Knox:
Roger.

[guards appear and open fire at them. Wildstar returns fire]

Sergeant Knox:
I'm gonna make a run for it from here. You cover me, Wildstar.

Derek Wildstar:
Roger.

Sergeant Knox:
When I get to the other side, you go back.

Derek Wildstar:
What's that?

Sergeant Knox:
You and Sandor get back to the Argo. I'll fly the other plane out when I am finished.

[Wildstar stares at Knox, and suddenly he realizes what Knox intends - to sacrifice himself by blowing up the energy center while Wildstar and Sandor are safe, to make sure that the Comet Empire is destroyed]

Derek Wildstar:
Knox...

Sergeant Knox:
Yes. Sandor needs your help.

Sergeant Knox:
[smiles, placing his hand on Wildstar's shoulder] Wildstar, Wildstar, look, you've got to let me do this. I never thanked you for rescuing me and my men on Brumas that time. It's hard for me to say things. This is my way of saying thanks. So long. See you back on the Argo.

[Knox rushes to the energy controls. The guards shoot at him from both sides]

Derek Wildstar:
Knox!

[Wildstar and Knox return fire. Knox reaches safely to the other side of the room, taking cover]

Sergeant Knox:
[shouts above the firing] Wildstar! Wildstar! Get back to the ship with Sandor. Go! I'll be alright. Get out of here, OK? Don't stand there! Get going.

[Wildstar hesitates. Knox give him confident look. Reluctantly, heavy-hearted, Wildstar leaves, knowing well that he will never see Knox alive again]

[Wildstar gets back to Sandor, reluctantly leaving Knox behind at the energy center]

Derek Wildstar:
Sandor!

Sandor:
Already? That was fast. Where's Knox?

Derek Wildstar:
[sadly] He's setting the explosives.

Sandor:
Would he get out?

[Wildstar and Sandor return to the landing bay of the Comet Empire. The bay is strewn with dead bodies and wrecked planes, both friend and foe. All the Argo crew members, who remained there to fight off the Comet Empire guards, are dead, except Conroy]

Derek Wildstar:
Conroy! Are you alright?

Conroy:
[while shooting at the guards] Hurry up and get on the plane.

[under heavy fire, Wildstar helps Sandor get on the plane. Conroy, not revealing that he is severely injured, sits at the cockpit]

Conroy:
[grits his teeth, trying to suppress his pain] Are you ready? Let's go.

Derek Wildstar:
OK!

[Conroy flies the plane out of the Comet Empire. Meanwhile, though he was shot several times by the guards, Knox nearly finishes setting the explosives at the energy center]

Sergeant Knox:
[setting the last bomb] The last one...

[Fatally injured, Knox collapses on the floor, but manages to activate the detonator in his last breath. The energy center is blown up with enormous explosion. Wildstar and Sandor look back, see the smoke rising from the Comet Empire, realizing that Knox died but completed the mission. Wildstar closes his eyes, filled with grief. Conroy lands the plane safely at the Argo]

Derek Wildstar:
Thanks, Conroy. We couldn't have done it without you.

[since Conroy does not reply, Wildstar leans forward to check on him, and to his sorrow finds that Conroy died of his injuries, his head rests on the console]

Princess Invidia:
[kneels] Father, what do we do now?

Prince Zordar:
[walks to the door] It's quite simple. We fight on!

Princess Invidia:
How can we do it?

Prince Zordar:
[stops Invidia from following him] I shall take command now. I can't trust your judgement. You made too many mistakes!

Princess Invidia:
What?

Prince Zordar:
Dire and Gorse, you're also both to blame!

Comet Empire Gen. Dire:
[sweats in fear] But... but, sir...

Prince Zordar:
I can still use you for minor tasks.

[Zordar closes the door, leaving Invidia, Dire and Gorse behind. Invidia slams helplessly on the locked door, and finally collapses sobbing]

[after bringing Sandor to the medical ward, Wildstar enters the command bridge]

Dash:
We were worried when we didn't hear from you. Knox got out, just behind you. Take a look, the Comet Empire is not moving!

[Wildstar looks at the Comet Empire, musing about all the innocent lives it mercilessly destroyed]

Derek Wildstar:
[muses] They're not moving, but I know they're not finished. OK...

Derek Wildstar:
[aloud] One last time, aim all guns at the Comet Empire! All guns!

[the Argo launches heavy barrage of missiles at the Comet Empire. Since its energy center was destroyed, the defence systems of the Comet Empire are disabled. The missiles inflict heavy damage on the Comet Empire, and it is gradually destroyed in series of massive explosions. But just as it seems the Star Force finally defeated the Comet Empire, out of its wreckage emerges huge black space fortress, heavily armed, much bigger than the Argo. The space fortress points its weapons at the defenceless Argo]

[last lines]

Narrator:
Can the evil Prince Zordar still conquer Earth?

[first lines]

Narrator:
After many long months in space, the Star Force finally reaches Iscandar. They load the CosmoDNA on board the Argo, and begin the long journey back to Earth. As the Star Force takes off, they say goodbye to Wildstar's brother and Queen Starsha, who have fallen in love and decided to stay on Iscandar. Now the Argo is flying back to Earth, and the crew works hard to assemble the huge CosmoDNA, so that it would be ready to go into operation as soon as they land.
