Jane:
Mara? Mara Cole?

Mara:
Jane Peters. What are you doin' on this goddamn street? My apartment's right around the corner. Let's go.

Mara:
Jane, why don't you join us?

Jane:
As my mother used to say, "Two's company, three's a crowd."

Mara:
And as I say, "Two's a duet, three's a symphony."

Mr. Maxwell:
Mrs. Ladd, I... I hope you didn't misunderstand what I was trying to say before. I... I...

Jane:
I didn't misunderstand, Mr. Maxwell. At least I don't *think* I did.

Mr. Maxwell:
I was merely leading up to, well... seeing if we might have supper together sometime.

Jane:
You're a virgin, aren't you, Mr. Maxwell?

Mr. Maxwell:
Well... Well, yes I am.

Jane:
I think we should uh... fix that, don't you?

Mara:
Okay, guys. When Tom comes out, George, I want you to go in.

George:
Uh-huh.

Mara:
When George comes out, Bill, you take over. Okay?

Bill:
I think I can handle that.

Mara:
Alright. Just one other thing. Make sure you keep her very happy and make sure she's busy all afternoon.

Mara:
So, what's Wilson doing for recreation, anyway? Bowling or anything like that?

Jane:
He goes down to the neighborhood bar, hangs out with the guys, has a coupla drinks. He has *one* friend. One real good friend, John Fields.

Mara:
John Fields. You f***ed him yet?

Jane:
Mara! Wilson and I don't have a relationship like that! We really love each other.

Mara:
You mean you haven't been with any other men, and do you really think Wilson has been true blue to you?

Jane:
You don't know Wilson, these days.

Mara:
Apparently not. Maybe he *has* changed, but when he was with me, all he wanted to do was f*** me three or four times a day and then take off and get some strange stuff for in-between.
