Mary Jane Starr:
That was a wonderful race, Ricky, even if you did win again.

Ricky North:
I didn't win, Mary Jane - it was Champ!

Mace Kincaid:
Any news?

Sam Bixby:
Ormby arrives tomorrow.

Sam Bixby:
[to French] Have you memorized the family history?

Tom French:
Edwin Booth once said I was the only actor in his company that could memorize lines faster than he could.

Sam Bixby:
Your acting better be as good as Booth's.

Sandy North:
Mr. Ormsby, I'm Sandy North. I'm supposed to make a Westerner out of you and keep Mary Jane as a neighbor.

Trem Holt:
You know, there's just one thing I never will be able to understand.

Sandy North:
What's that?

Trem Holt:
Why this wife of mine was worried about being one of the Wards. It was her I wanted to marry, not one of her brothers.

Ricky North:
Look, I found this baby rabbit and it's too young to be away from its mother, so I thought maybe you'd take care of it because you know so much about animals.

Trem Holt:
Well, Ricky, it's not so much that I know about animals - it's because I like 'em.

Ricky North:
Mr. Holt, you love animals so much... why don't you like people?

Trem Holt:
Well, because you can trust animals. You can't trust people.

Joe Spencer:
Haven't you heard? Trem's got himself a lawyer!

Idaho:
Who?

Joe Spencer:
MacGregor, the smartest one in the territory - could even prove that Cain didn't kill Abel.

Sally Custer:
The team got scared from a lot of shooting and ran away and Ricky stopped them!

Jim Custer:
Are you all right, Sally?

Sally Custer:
Fine now, but if Ricky hadn't come along...

Jim Custer:
Ricky, I just can't find words to thank you.

Ricky North:
Aw, shucks, anybody coulda done it.

Jim Custer:
Yeah, but you did it!

Dodge Kelley:
Get that deer and put him with the rest.

Ricky North:
You can't do that!

Bundy:
I'd like to know why not.

[Rebel and Champion attack Bundy]

[Ricky asks Dr. Powell, a southerner, to treat his injured dog]

Dr. James Powell:
How 'bout that, Ellie.

Ellie Powell:
What's that, James?

Dr. James Powell:
Our first day in Yankee territory and we're going to the North ranch

Doc Terwilliger:
Now you watch this; here's how it's done. "All right, folks, come on in a little closer. Gather 'round me for I bring you one of the wonders of ancient medicine: the secret tonic of Montezuma! Guarenteed to prolong life and restore youth. One bottle will make you feel like a new man; two will make you feel like new twins and it's so pleasant to the taste it's delicious on flapjacks.

Jake Webster:
I think I can pick it up without much trouble.

Doc Terwilliger:
Why, sure you can, Jake. All's you got to do is act like you drink it yourself... which is something I ain't never done.

Doc Terwilliger:
[to Jake] Visitors! Watch me make 'em customers.

[Jake has stolen Sandy's horse and fled into the foothills and the pony he left behind is too small and slow to catch him]

Sandy North:
Well, you did your best, pony, but you couldn't catch that horse of mine if you had eight legs.

Doc Terwilliger:
Who in the world would ever think he was a jewel thief.

Sheriff Dawson:
One of the slickest.

Sandy North:
Yeah, and he's not a bad horse thief, either.

[Ote and his partner try to hold up Jake]

Jake Webster:
Now, you boys are wastin' your time. We belong to the same lodge.

Ote Bledsoe:
Lodge? What are you talkin' about?

Jake Webster:
This horse - it's stolen. I stole him to get away from the sheriff who happens to want me for robbery.

Jake Webster:
Look, boys, I need help. I'm ready to talk a deal. You want to listen and I'll cut into a fifty thousand dollar pot.

Ote Bledsoe:
Yeah? Get down and spread your cards!

[Gringo and his gang have just held up a stagecoach and found a bag of money]

Reverend Thomas:
I wish I could stop you from taking that - for your own sake.

Gringo:
For my own sake? How much money do you think we got here?

Reverend Thomas:
My friend, money you get like that will never do you any good, for he who lives by the sword will die by the sword - or the gun.

Gringo:
Oh, don't worry about me.

Reverend Thomas:
Worrying is part of my job - especially people like you. I want to help you.

Gringo:
Blamed if I don't think you mean that!

Reverend Thomas:
I do!

Gringo:
Thanks, Reverend. If I ever decide to change my mind, I'll let you know, but don't wait up for me.

Reverend Thomas:
The first time I've known of a wild horse to be the instrument of providence, but that's what Champ was!

Paul Kenyon:
If it hadn't been for Ricky here...

Ricky North:
Aw, it was really Champ.

[Champ whinnies]

Ricky North:
He found ya.

Sandy North:
[to outlaws] Come on, you two - on your horses.

[Rebel barks]

Sheriff:
What's the matter with Rebel?

Ricky North:
I think he's jealous.

Sandy North:
Cut it out, Rebel. We all know you helped.

Ricky North:
You bet he did! It took teamwork to do it.
