Well, nobody can stop time forever, Paul.

Paul:
What do you mean? Why not?

Doorman-Narrator:
Well, when time stops, nothing grows. Not a plant, not animals, not even boys.

Paul:
You mean you can't stop them? They can still blow up the bridge?

Doorman-Narrator:
If time doesn't go forward, you won't be able to grow up.

Paul:
I don't wanna grow up.

Doorman-Narrator:
Why don't you?

Paul:
I don't wanna grow up and be like those men on the bridge! Chasing gold, and blowing up things! Grown-ups are all stupid.

Doorman-Narrator:
Not all, Paul. You're a thoughtful and loving person. You can still be you even if you do grow up.
