Dr. Karen Gayle:
You never seem to have a dull moment.

Eddie Drake:
Don't give me that, Dr. Gayle. It can get plenty dull between cases. This one had a couple of interesting angles - both of them good-looking. One was a dancer - what a dancer!

Dr. Karen Gayle:

Eddie Drake:

Dr. Karen Gayle:
I didn't know you could afford one.

Eddie Drake:
It was quite a joint all right, and she was sleek as a Town and Country with its top down, besides which the look she threw at me from across the room with those narrow greenish eyes made me glad I'd shaved and put on my other clean shirt.

Mrs. MacElraith:
I was gambling at Prince Menchnikov's last night.

Eddie Drake:
Nice little separation center he's got there.
