Transformers: Dark of the Moon

Sam Witwicky:
[To the boss at his new job] Mister, I saved your life twice. I can't tell you how, or when, or why, but I have done sh*t that matters and I'd just kinda like a job where I matter again.

Sam Witwicky:

Carly Spencer:
[About her brother, who was killed in Afghanistan while serving in the British Army] What do you think, Sam? You think we'd rather have his medals or we'd rather have him?

Carly Spencer:
I love this car.

Robert Epps:
[On coming out of retirement to fight the Decepticons again] Because that a**hole killed my friends too.

Charlotte Mearing:
[To Sam] With all due respect, young man, I appreciate what you did. But you're not a soldier; you're a messenger. You've always been a messenger.

Seymour Simmons:
Tell Megatron: let's tango.

Seymour Simmons:
Rich bastards. I used to hate 'em!

Seymour Simmons:
Years from now, they're gonna ask us: where were you when they took over the planet? And we'll say: we just stood by and watched...

Optimus Prime:
We were once a peaceful race of intelligent mechanical beings. But then came the war, between the Autobots who fought for freedom, and the Decepticons who dreamt of tyranny. Over matched and outnumbered, our defeat was all but certain. But in the wars final days, one Autobot ship escaped the battle. It was carrying a secret cargo, which would have changed our planets fate. A desperate mission. Our final hope. A hope, that vanished.

Optimus Prime:
Your leaders will now understand. Decepticons will never leave your planet alone. And we needed them to believe we had gone. For today, in the name of freedom, we take the battle to them!

Optimus Prime:
[Closing line] In any war, there are calms between storms. There will be days when we lose faith. Days when our allies turn against us. But the day will never come that we forsake this planet and its people.

Mission Control:
We are not alone after all, are we?

Buzz Aldrin:
No, sir. We are not alone.

Walter Cronkite:
We now have had confirmation of loss of signal from Apollo 11. Apollo 11 is on the far side of the moon...

[at Mission Control, someone turns off a transmitter to the news station]

Mission Control:
Neil, you are dark on a rock. The mission is a "go". You have 21 minutes...

Sam:
Oh, here we go. Here we go. You see that? Judgment. Judging a man by his car. And you're gonna wave at him while he's judging me?

Carly:
What's with you? He's my boss. This job pays for our food, our rent.

Sam:
No I totally understand, I'm totally fine, I get it, I'm well fed. And guess what? I'm not your boy toy anymore. I got my big boy pants on; you see them? In the car, thank you duchess.

Carly:
Oh my God, are you threatened by him?

Sam:
[laughing] Threatened, What am I threatened by his money, his power, his good looks? None of the above. Check!

Carly:
God, your temper tantrums are so sexy.

Sam:
Get in the car, please.

Carly:
Sam, he's hardly the first man to ever smile at me I think I can handle it.

Sam:
Hold on, hold on, it's the smiling back part that gets me.

Carly:
No more smiles. never again, I promise.

Sam:
That works for me.

Jerry:
[Frantically, to Sam, in a bathroom stall] I'm Wang. Deep Wang. Deep Wang. You're not getting it! Deep Throat. Watergate? I'm talking code to you! Shhh! [Jumps up to peek out of the top of the stall, as someone enters] Damn it! Shhh! They watch and listen! I can't go to the government, but you can! Because sh*t's going down, son! It is code Pink, as in Floyd! Dark Side! Why do you think no one's been up there since 1972?

Sam:
I know you're speaking English. It's just a very strange English. . . [stop, as Jerry pulls pants down] I'm gonna hit you.

Jerry:
I'm gonna hit you right back, son. [Drops pants, and pulls out some papers, rubbing them across Sam's nose.] It's my manifesto. They are whacking us out. Everyone who knows what's on the dark . . . [Hears a noise, whispers] Your alien friends are in danger, you know, the good ones. It's up to you.

Starscream:
Oh, my poor master. How it pains me to see you so wounded, so weak...

Megatron:
Spare me, you gaseous sycophant! You know what you are told, which is nothing!

[Laserbeak swoops down, shooting down a vulture on the way, and lands on Soundwave's arm]

Soundwave:
Soundwave reporting, Lord Megatron.

Megatron:
And what news from your little assassin?

Laserbeak:
Autobots have taken the bait. They've discovered the Ark, and returned with its cargo.

Megatron:
You did me great honor, tracking that ship to the moon. The human collaborators have served their purpose, Soundwave. It's time to eliminate loose ends.

Soundwave:
Laserbeak, kill them all.

Laserbeak:
With pleasure.

Charlotte:
I don't care who you are. If you breathe a word of what you see in here, you will do time for treason. Do you understand me?

Sam:
I'll take my orders from the Autobots. I know them. I don't know you.

Charlotte:
You will.

[After Sentinel Prime is revived]

Sentinel Prime:
My ship. We came under fire. The pillars. Where are the pillars?

Optimus:
You saved five of them, including the control pillar.

Sentinel:
Only five? We once had hundreds!

Charlotte:
Excuse me, gentlemen. May I ask, what is this technology you're looking for?

Sentinel:
It is the ability to reshape the universe. Together the pillars form a space bridge. I designed, and I alone, can control it. It defies your laws of physics to transport matter through time and space.

Charlotte:
You're talking about a teleportation device, aren't you?

Optimus:
Yes, for resources, for refugees.

Charlotte:
Refugees, or troops of soldiers, weapons, maybe bombs! A means of an instant strike! That's its military function, isn't it?

Sentinel:
It is our technology and it must be returned.

Charlotte:
Yes. If humans say so. You can't just bring weapons of mass destruction into our atmosphere! You kind of have to clear customs first! A little formality called paperwork, kind of separates us from the animals.

Sentinel:
I will overlook your condescending tone if you heed the gravity of mine. The Decepticons must never know the space bridge is here. For in their hands, it would mean the end of your world.

Ironhide:
Is there a problem?

Sideswipe:
Whoa, little Mexican standoff we got here.

Ironhide:
Weapons down.

Sideswipe:
And we'll let you escape with your dignity.

[Crankcase screeches indiscernibly]

[Hatchet replies in the same foreign vernacular]

Ironhide:
Drop 'em! [Lays down the weapon]

Sideswipe:
That's good. [Crankcase and Hatchet equip Decepticon maces] Ironhide! Watch out!

Ironhide:
Gaaah! [Ironhide growls, pained]

[Sideswipe disarms Decepticon mace]

Sideswipe:
Ironhide! Catch! [Ironhide equips gun, he kills Hatchet] Behind you!

[Decepticon mace detaches in Ironhide's infrastructure and impales Crankcase]

Ironhide:
[Optimus Prime voice] Decepticon punk! [Ironhide slams Crankcase and kicks another car, careful when explode] Class dismissed.

Sentinel:
So majestic and peaceful, this planet. Unlike the final days of Cybertron.

Optimus:
I've wondered what might have been if you had fought the final battle, instead of me.

Sentinel:
Never mourn the past, young warrior. Thanks to you, our race survives.

Optimus:
You were our leader, Sentinel. It is your right to lead us again.

Sentinel:
In a world I do not know, I am no longer your teacher, Optimus. You are mine.

[After Optimus tries to stop Sentinel, but is unsuccessful]

Optimus:
Why, Sentinel, why?

Sentinel:
For Cybertron! For our home! What war destroyed, we can rebuild! But only if we join with the Decepticons.

Optimus:
No, it's not the only way. This is our home! We must defend the humans!

Sentinel:
So lost you are, Optimus. On Cybertron, we were gods. And here, they call us machines. Let the humans serve us, or perish.

Sam:
[While suffering from the Decepticon watch] I need to know how you're gonna fight back. I know this is strategy, I know you're coming back with reinforcements, something. I know there's a plan. You can tell me. No other human will ever know.

Optimus:
There is no plan.

Sam:
If we just do what they want, how are we gonna live with ourselves?

Optimus:
You are my friend, Sam. You always will be. But your leaders have spoken. From here…the fight will be your own.

Simmons:
I wanna talk to whoever's in charge here! Well, well, well. Charlotte Mearing.

Charlotte:
Agent Simmons. Former Agent Simmons. So I see you survived Washington.

Simmons:
Washington, Egypt, heartbreak. I survive. I will survive!

Sam:
You wanted an answer. You got one.

Dylan Gould:
I always get what I want, Sam. We just needed to be sure.

Sam:
Sure of what?

Dylan:
That they would go without a fight.

[High above, Starscream descends and shoots the Autobot shuttle, destroying it]

Carly:
They said they were here for our resource, to rebuild their planet.

Dylan:
Yes, but really one resource in particular. One unique to our planet.

Carly:
Us?

Dylan:
You're very smart. You see, they can't rebuild without a slave labor force. How many rocks up there in the universe offer six billion workers?

Carly:
What are you talking about? We can't transport people.

Dylan:
They're not shipping people. They're shipping their planet here.

Carly:
I guess they didn't tell you about this part, did they?

Dylan:
You think I'm at every meeting? Look, I'm safe. [Uncertainly] They said I was safe.

Megatron:
The city is secured. The humans cannot stop us!

Sentinel Prime:
As the afternoon falls, the rest of the Pillars will reach their launch positions.

Megatron:
This is the victory I promised you so many years ago where we rebuild Cybertron together.

Sentinel Prime:
I have deigned to work with you that our planet may survive! I will never work for you! And you'll be wise to remember the difference.

Lennox:
Listen up. You want to hit back? We're gonna have to wingsuit in. It's the only way to get close. I can't promise anyone a ride home, but if you're with me, the world needs you now.

Soldier:
I'll find my own ride home, sir.

[After tearing through the Deception forces]

Optimus:
Get down here, Sentinel!

Sentinel:
Optimus, you forget your place. [Slides down the building with his sword] I bring you Cybertron, your home, and still you choose humanity.

Optimus:
You were the one who taught me freedom is everyone's right.

[Optimus attacks, holding Sentinel against the building]

Sentinel:
I will retrigger that pillar!

Optimus:
Then you'll have to go through me!

Megatron:
Now, we need a truce. All I want is to be back in charge. Besides... who would you be without me, Prime?

Optimus:
Time to find out. [kills Megatron then turns to Sentinel]

Sentinel Prime:
Optimus... All I've ever wanted... was the survival of our race. You must see why I had to betray you. [Optimus picks up Megatron's gun]

Optimus:
You didn't betray me. [c*cks the gun and points it at Sentinel] You betrayed yourself.

Sentinel Prime:
[realizing what's about to happen] NO, OPTIMUS! [Optimus shoots Sentinel in the back, flipping him over then shoots him in the head, killing Sentinel. Optimus drops the gun in disgust]

Optimus Prime:
Today in the name of freedom we take the battle to them.

Optimus prime:
you may lose faith in us but never in your selves

Optimus Prime:
[Has just blown a Decepticon away] We will kill them all.

Laserbeak:
Jerry. You are my favorite.

Jerry:
I'll do whatever you want me to do--

Laserbeak:
I know. But my superiors need me to... suicide you.

Jerry:
You don't have to--

Laserbeak:
What did you say to Witwicky?

Jerry:
[Pulls out two guns, pointing them directly at Laserbeak] Aw, sh*t! Huh?! Who wants some chicken dinner now, b*tch?! 'Cause somebody messed with the wrong Wang today!

Megatron:
Cybertron, you are saved! At last! [Spots Carly] Woah, have you come to surrender?

Carly:
Was it all worth it?

Megatron:
Obviously.

Carly:
All your work to bring Sentinel back and now clearly he has all the power? It's actually almost tragic!

Megatron:
[Jerks towards Carly, causing her to fall.] YOU DARE LECTURE ME, SLAVE?!

Carly:
Your Decepitcons finally conquering this planet and yet their leader won't be you!

Megatron:
IT WILL BE ME! It will always be me!

Carly:
Well in any minute now, you'll be nothing.. but Sentinel's b*tch.

[Megatron roars at Carly, originally decides to kill her, but hesitates and instead moves away to kill Sentinel.]
