At last I was coming to my destination. My mission was strange for me. Most of my life had been spent hunting wild animals. Suddenly I found myself hunting for a human being - a boy - a boy of the jungle. My only clue: a rumor that had traveled thousands of miles. A rumor that persisted in spite of scoffing and ridicule. But there I was, the best animal hunter from America, hunting a boy. I felt I couldn't complain - I was being paid very well. And after all, money was the only important thing in my life.
