One thing to bear in mind - because it's about relationships, I won't pull any punches tonight; it's quite an upsetting talk. There will be tears before we're finished. If other nights are anything to go by, there'll be floods of tears. Now, when it happens, don't let it spoil your evening, don't feel self-conscious and embarrassed; just give me a second to gather myself together, then we'll move on quite happily, we'll pretend it never happened.
