There is no separate soul, or god. Man's action is merely a response to personal compulsions, not from a higher power. The truly rational will realise this while others will not. Death will not offer us a place to go, whether we're truly good or evil. Though the truly evil and disturbed individuals may find that the mystery of the cosmos bends in their favour, as rational is neither there nor here. There is no afterlife, only afterdeath. Life's energy will transform, and the being will exhaust itself from existence. For the few that exist after death, their energy transforms into its own rationality. Which is, for us, irrational.
