No.

Murray Keegan:
Now, that's not a very good attitude, you need to try new things. Like... playing with other children, for example.

Young Pamela:
The other kids say Edith is boring.

Young Edith:
They do not. They think you're a show off!

Murray Keegan:
[watching Pamela dance] Edith, look at your sister, do you see how confident she is? Confidence is all you need in life. Education comes later.

Young Edith:
But I like colouring and reading books.

Young Pamela:
You can't even read yet!

Murray Keegan:
Now, Edith, I know you're younger than your sister, but you need to start taking on some of her recreations.

Young Edith:
What's recreations?

Murray Keegan:
A recreation is an interest. It's like... dancing or make-up... Look, I know you're young and you don't really understand yet, okay, but as you get older... You can be more like Pamela.
