The Phantom:
[singing brokenly with the music box] Masquerade... paper faces on parade. Masquerade... hide your face, so the world will never find you...

[Looks up to see Christine watching him with sad face]

The Phantom:
[heartbroken] Christine, I love you...

[Christine walks to his side, presses her ring into his hand and leaves him; the Phantom walks out and watches Christine and Raoul leave in the boat]

Christine:
[singing] Say you'll share with me, one love, one lifetime...

Raoul:
Say the word and I will follow you...

Christine:
Share each day with me each night, each morning...

The Phantom:
You alone can make my song take flight. It's over now, the Music of the Night!

[He breaks the mirrors in his lair and leaves in hidden tunnel behind one; Meg Giry and several others come down to his lair; Meg find music box and sees the Phantom’s mask on a chair]
