[Rigg finds Brenda in his house, wearing a pig mask and sitting in large chair-device. A tape starts.]

Tape:
Officer Rigg, your first test. The person in front of you is in desperate need of help. But it is not your job to save them. You view this person as a victim, but if you were to SEE WHAT I SEE, beneath the mask lies a criminal, undeserving of the life she leads.

Brenda:
Get me out!

Tape:
Your obsession tells you to save the victim. I tell you to walk away. The choice is yours.

[Rigg removes the gag from Brenda's mouth]

Brenda:
Are you a cop?

Rigg:
What?

Brenda:
ARE YOU A COP?!

Rigg:
Yeah, I'm a cop.

[Rigg pulls off the pig mask, starting the device]

Brenda:
What is that? What did you do?

[The device begins pulling her hair through a small hole]

Brenda:
They're in the gears.

Rigg:
What's in the gears?

Brenda:
The combination. Get me out.
