Four classic Sweeney quotes:

DCI Frank Haskins:
"Any news on the whisky hijack?

DI Jack Regan:
No, but if a truckload of dry ginger goes missing we'll let you know."

DS Jellyneck:
"Shall I pull up here, sir?"

DI Jack Regan:
No, right outside the pub. Open the door as I get out. Give me a salute and play God Save the Queen."

(A stinging retort from Jack while being driven to the pub where his old girlfriend lives)

Harry Biggleswade (on hearing that Jack has just had his parents' flat searched):
"I bet you left it looking a right mess."

DCI Braithwaite:
The state the Bomb Squad are in, I think they'd appreciate anything."
