You must've heard Jack's quote when he's yelling at Knowles wrong. I think he said", You couldn't find an Irishman in a Harp club."

Jack and George are waiting for Lynn Hurst to come back from looking after her young daughter - who is poorly.

DS George Carter:
"I don't like this number, guv."

DI Jack Regan:
"Why not?"

DS George Carter:
"I find meself hoping the little kid don't get better."

Jack's Turkish friend Captain Shebbeq is pretending to call for prayers - which a severely hungover Jack does NOT care for.

DI Jack Regan:
Could you please contain your natural desire to imitate your ancestors? If I am to shave this morning, it must be done in complete silence. With concentration."

Jack and George have just brought Jack's friend Eddie Monk home - in a severely drunk condition - which has scuppered George's date with Eddie's daughter Kath.

DS George Carter:
"I wouldn't mind half the money he spent getting in that state, would you?"

DI Jack Regan:
"You're right."

(Kath brings them both a cup of coffee)

Kath (kissing George):
Sorry to spoil our night out."

DS George Carter:
He ain't 'alf gonna have a bonce in the morning."

jack and George are waiting on the rubbish tip for some stolen money to be picked up by two villains called Miles and Ward.

DS George Carter:
"I'm frozen. How are you?"

DI Jack Regan:
"I'm all right."

DS George Carter:
"Don't half pen and ink down here."
