Well-Manicured Man:
Driver. (car stops in an alley) The men I work with will stop at nothing to clear the way for what they believe is their stake in the inevitable future. I was ordered to kill Dr. Kurtzweil, as I was ordered to kill you. (Suddenly grabs a gun and shoots the driver in the back of the head; Mulder jumps.)

Mulder:
Ow!

Well-Manicured Man:
Trust no one, Mr. Mulder. (Opens his door and exits; holds the door open) Get out of the car.

Mulder:
Why? The upholstery is already ruined.
