I thought maybe you'd better take time to notice the kid ain't wearin' a gun.

Gambler:
You cuttin' yourself a piece of his trouble, Pop?

Rare Crowder:
I was watchin'. The boy's tellin' the truth. Your cards come off the bottom. Now maybe you'd like to beg your pardon all the way around, hmm?

[the gambler reaches furtively for the gun he has concealed under his jacket]

Rare Crowder:
You just can't keep your mind away from that gun, can you? Win lots of arguments that way?

Gambler:
Some.

[Crowder guns down the gambler in the ensuing shootout]

Rare Crowder:
Only have to lose one.
