They say that alcohol loosens the tounge. Well you must have took ten-to-the-douzen with drink inside you, or did you get tanked up ___

Deirdre Barlow:
Mother!

Blanche Hunt:
What?

Deirdre Barlow:
Don't be so rude!

Blanche Hunt:
Well I think he needs telling! I've never heard so much self-indulgent whinging in all my life!

Ken Barlow:
Blanche!

Blanche Hunt:
Is there some... correlation between how boring you are and how much you drink?

Peter Barlow:
Blanche, what we normally do at this point, is let other people in the group reflect on what the speaker has just said.

Blanche Hunt:
And what am I doing? Chewing corn for gummy parrots?

Howard Lee:
Ross was just trying to help those here with a drink problem, to see that they're not alone.

Blanche Hunt:
