Jesse Gentry:

Carla Hines:
Jesse? [Jesse holds her with the cleaver] What are you doing?

Jesse Gentry:
I spent some quality time with Wallace, Mom. And I've discovered that I've got more in common with him than with you.

Wallace Hines:
[ holds the gun ] Jesse, you put down that cleaver.

Jesse Gentry:
Just listen to me.

Wallace Hines:
No. You listen to me! Don't you hurt her.

Jesse Gentry:
Do you even know who she is?

Wallace Hines:
She's our mother.

Jesse Gentry:
Mother? She abandoned me! And then she tried to convince me to kill you.

Wallace Hines:
You're lying!

Jesse Gentry:

She wouldn't do that.
