Yvonne:
Gary! Gary!

Gary:
Yvonne, is that you?

Yvonne:
Yes, it's me... darling. [she enters the bedroom] Oh, how's my poorly soldier, then?

Gary:
Not so bad.

Yvonne:
How do you feel?

Gary:
OK. My side doesn't ache like it did, but then my throat started hurting again, so maybe because my throat started hurting again it took my mind off my side, so I suppose we'll just have to wait till my throat stops hurting before we know if my side's stopped hurting, so fingers crossed.

Yvonne:
Absolutely. Gary, you've been here three days now; think it might help if you got up for a bit?

Gary:
Well, I don't want to rush things; I'd hate to have a relapse.
