Nina Simone:
I sure damn did!

Presenter:

Nina Simone:
Yes I did!

Presenter:
Why?

Nina Simone:
Because *BEEP* oh dear. Because there was a record company [she laughs] .

Presenter:
You were about to say something you shouldn't ...

Nina Simone:
I can't say! Because there was a record company who stole my album and didn't pay me and they came to Switzerland, and I said 'where's my money?' and they said 'we're not going to give you any money !' and I said 'oh yes you are' and I got a gun - it was a gun! wasn't a knife it was a gun - and I followed him to a restaurant and I tried to kill him! I missed and I went back to America.

Presenter:
You actually pulled the trigger?

Nina Simone:
Of I course I *BEEP* Oh excuse me [laughing hysterically] yes I did!

Nina Simone:
