High Hopes2002
Mrs. Elsie Hepplewhite:
[when baking in the kitchen with Charlie and Hoff] You know, my mam, whenever she made Christmas pudding, she put a silver sixpence in the pudding. One Christmas when she did it, my poor Taid got the sixpence stuck in his throat. He hopped from his chair upand down pointing to his neck and I thought he was being funny, he always was, and left the house, ran one mile down the road and collapsed and died.
Charlie:
Sad, isn't it Mrs. Hepplewhite?
Hoffman:
Ay!
Mrs. Elsie Hepplewhite:
Mind you, he was ninety-four, he had a good life!
