You knew all along Tashjian killed Kaiser, didn't you? [pause] Don't worry: I'm not going to run to the Ethics Committee.

Jack McCoy:
I didn't know with absolute certainty. One way or another, I had to get Tashjian on the stand.

A.D.A. Jamie Ross:

Jack McCoy:
Sometimes you have to make deals with the devil.

A.D.A. Jamie Ross:
Just as long as you don't get your eyebrows singed.

Jack McCoy:
Anyway, Tashjian owed somebody half a million dollars. I'm sure they'll be around to collect it one of these days.

A.D.A. Jamie Ross:
And as for the Ethics Committee, you owe me one! [Ross leaves. McCoy snickers. Cut to intertitle: "Sam 'Bunny' Russo is currently serving a sentence of life without parole.
