A.D.A. Abbie Carmichael:
She knew him for six weeks. How vulnerable was she?

Dr. Emil Skoda:
Nothing to do with that. Given the right combination of his skill and her self-esteem problems, he could do it in six days.

Executive A.D.A. Jack McCoy:
Did she explain the scratches on her thigh?

Dr. Emil Skoda:
Every time I asked her about details, she got too emotional to answer.

A.D.A. Abbie Carmichael:
So we don't know any more than we did.

Dr. Emil Skoda:
Whatever her level of involvement, she was abused and manipulated into participating.

Executive A.D.A. Jack McCoy:
She didn't try to stop him.

Dr. Emil Skoda:
She was afraid.

A.D.A. Abbie Carmichael:
She didn't run. She didn't call the police.

Dr. Emil Skoda:
She couldn't. Psychologically, she was in thrall to him and suspended her judgment.

A.D.A. Abbie Carmichael:
Abused or not, she was there. It's her own sister, for God's sakes. We can't let her off the hook.

Dr. Emil Skoda:
