Detective Rey Curtis:

Timothy Stevens:
Charles needs a new editor now. I'd rather have him writing than fending off the police.

Detective Rey Curtis:
He needs a new editor because his old one is dead. It's called a motive.

Timothy Stevens:
If I killed every editor I competed with, this would be a pretty small literary community.

Detective Lennie Briscoe:
