Dr. Laura Hobson:
Except you're not extinct.

DI Robert Lewis:
Let's hope that's still the case when *I* get back. From New Zealand. Where I will have been with you. If that's OK. I think I've been a bit of a fool. Well, actually I've been a *lot* of a fool. I'm really sorry.

[tearfully she hugs him]
