Mr. Brown:
Sit down, Willie. My daughter says you'd like to speak to me.

Willie Oleson:
Oh. Yes, Sir... That is... Mr. Brown... That is... What I mean to say is... Rachel seems agreeable to the idea that uh... we should uh... that is you...

Mr. Brown:
I understand you're not going to the university now.

Willie Oleson:
Uh... Yes... Sir... That is yes sir, I'm not going. Uh... Mr. Brown... Uh... Rachel seems to be us...

Mr. Brown:
You be working at the restaurant full time, Willie?

Willie Oleson:
Um... Oh... Yes... Sir. Um... Seems like we got more business we can handle but I don't mind. No place I'd rather be than in the kitchen! My Pa says I kinda come by it naturally. I spent most of my time raidin' the cupboards as a kid. I guess I just... uh... feel right at home there.

Mr. Brown:
I see.

Willie Oleson:
Uh... Anyway, I think I can do real well with the restaurant. And I have a lot of new ideas for improvements. Which is why I feel that uh... that Rachel and I... we should be able to...

Mr. Brown:
Willie. I'm sure you you'll provide very well for her.

Willie Oleson:
Oh, yes sir. I uh... You are?

Mr. Brown:
That is if you ever get around to asking me for her hand.

Willie Oleson:
Oh, her hand? Uh... I would very much like to have your permission to marry Rachel Brown... uh... Rachel.
