Lois Lane:
I know, it doesn't make too much sense, does it? I guess I just couldn't leave you there.

Clark Kent:
You slammed the door in my face last night.

Lois Lane:
That was a mistake.

Clark Kent:
[jokingly] Don't let it happen again.

Lois Lane:
I guess we'll, um, just have to see how things go, won't we?

Clark Kent:
Fortunately, there's no doors here tonight.

Lois Lane:
Fortunately.

[they kiss their first "real" kiss]
