Carl Watson:
[dropping the magazine] I'll take my chances.

Marla Evans:
Will you cash this for me?

Carl Watson:
That's what the sign says, don't it? [cashes her welfare check and hands her the money] What are you doing Friday night?

Marla Evans:
Friday? [holds up the money she just received] I'll be in Paris.

Carl Watson:
What about Saturday?

Marla Evans:
London. [turns to leave]

Carl Watson:
