Maybe you haven't noticed, but Goss's lawyer won't even let Goss talk to us.

Chief Johnson could have found a way around this.

Lt. Andy Flynn:
She would have. But then we would be back defending ourselves in court.

Lt. Louie Provenza:
We don't have to convince Jason Goss to confess. He's already done that. Now, we have to convince Jason Goss to confess again under less favorable circumstances.

Captain Sharon Raydor:
And I am sure that Chief Johnson could have done that too. On the other hand, she never would've reported to you, and as it so happens, I intend to begin our second investigation by following through on this 911 call.
