Mr. Goss, given the issue of public safety, I will accept this plea. You are hereby remanded into state custody. Uh, now, DDA Rios, will I be seeing the driver of the car, this Cory Stark, in my courtroom as well?

Lt. Mike Tao:
No, Your Honor, we regret to inform the court that Cory Stark was shot to death before we could take him into custody.

Jason Goss:
Wait, what?

Detective Julio Sanchez:
Mr. Stark was murdered yesterday afternoon. The FBI is holding several suspects. As part of their ongoing investigation, we've agreed to let them sort it out.
