I'm not saying that you're a sexist monster. I just think it's weird that your first instinct is to act like I'm crazy and defend Brad Honeycutt instead of just believing me.

Dev:
Well, I guess, in my head, I'd like to think someone isn't so awful that they wouldn't introduce themselves to someone just 'cause they're a woman.

Rachel:
And what I'm saying is that there are a lot of subtle little things that happen to me and all women, even in our little progressive world. And when somebody, especially my boyfriend, tells me I'm wrong without having any way of knowing my personal experience, it's insulting.

Dev:
Okay. I get that. Well, I mean, I guess there's no way I'll ever really know what it's like to be in your shoes, so I'll try to do a better job of listening, all right? So can we call it a draw?

Rachel:
