Beth Turner:
I thought you could handle it. You know pay him off.

Josef Konstantin:
You think that'll work?

Beth Turner:
No.

Josef Konstantin:
[pause] Well then, you know how I'm going to handle it.

Beth Turner:
Mick has protected me. Saved me more times than I can count.

Josef Konstantin:
And you're returning the favor.

Beth Turner:
Just don't tell him we're doing this.

Josef Konstantin:
I can keep a secret. [starts to leave then stops and turns around] But as long as you're involved with Mick and you work at Buzzwire, his secret will always be in danger.
