I have a story that could be helpful to you. There is this foolish man that I know. He went onto a time travel to change the past that he regretted with his life. The man tried desperately to change the past. But the miracle he was hoping for never took place. But at the end of the journey he had come to realize that no matter how much he changes the past, he himself will not change. Rather than changing the mistake that he had made in the past, the will to change the present is what's most important.
