The DNA samples from the Jane Doe in the gravel crusher and the killer in the bathroom: A match, same person.

Detective Angela DeAngelis:
That doesn't make any sense.

Detective Art Bell:
Someone in the lab must've messed up, contaminated or mislabeled the samples.

Janis Beckwith:
Not on my watch.

Lieutenant Gavin Hardcastle:
Then what, Janice?

Janis Beckwith:
Our suspect killer's DNA came from blood we found in the bathroom. Maybe the killer planted Jane Doe's blood there.

Detective Art Bell:
What, so she carries around a couple pints of Jane Doe's blood and just splashes it around?

Janis Beckwith:
Well, that's more likely than she walked into my lab and tampered with the samples.

Detective Angela DeAngelis:
Maybe someone with access tampered.
