Daniels:
Yeah, he, uh, didn't make it back. Accidents happen.

Detective Joss Carter:
[Scoffs] He trusted me. I gave him my word. I-I promised I'd protect him.

Daniels:
You shouldn't make promises you can't keep. Come on, you don't think this guy was innocent, do you?

Detective Joss Carter:

It's not my job to care.
