  After seeing "The Post," about efforts by it and The Times to disclose The Pentagon Papers, and being reminded of "All the Presidents Men," and the struggle to solve The Watergate Scandal, the history of popular canonization of these mortal, corporate entities - ironically highlighted by the quoted words of Piven's character - poses a stark, even frightening contrast to the attempted demonization of these proud, journalistic beacons, by a federal administration that could scarcely have been conceived, much less believed, at the time these landmark films were made.... Perhaps, the only classic movie moment that begins to express the tenuous nature of our media icons' foothold against the encroachment of tyranny, might be in the closing words of "Three Days of the Condor", when Robertson's CIA official stares Turner (Redford's accidental soldier if truth), squarely in the face, and asks of Turner's impending Times expose on government plans for petro-subversion,
