Lana Lang:
[Standing at the top of the loft as Clark enters] Why aren't you dressed?

Clark Kent:
[In utter amazement of Lana's beauty] Wow.

Lana Lang:
[Walking up the stairs Clark hides the Kryptonite key under some blankets and Lana walks to him with his tux in hand] Here.

Clark Kent:
I have to do something first.

Lana Lang:
What is it?

Clark Kent:
I can't tell you. [He puts his arms around her and holds her close] Just know I'm doing this for us and our future.

Lana Lang:
The last time someone said that to me he went off to war. [They embrace]

Clark Kent:
You should go. I'll meet you there. [She walks down the stairs]

Clark Kent:
Lana. [She turns to look at him on the steps in the loft] I just wanted to remember this moment. [She smiles with a tear in her eye and turns and walks out of the loft]
