: You couldn't blame the folks for laughing. A Texas Ranger riding into town with a baby in his arms wasn't what you would call an everyday site. Especially a town like Sweetwater. But even in Sweetwater, folks have babies, even if there are lots of better towns to raise a kid in. And this is the first time a ranger ever delivered one, all wrapped up in a nice neat package - it sure looked peculiar.
