George Motts:
[quietly at Tom's side, interrupts] Sir? [fumbles with tape and recorder] Gift from your wife. [plays tape]

Jack Carlson:
[over tape] What do you have in mind? [as tape plays, a slow-motion Tom violently tries to grab the recorder as reporters are snapping photos and holding out microphones and Tom is restrained by guards]

Tom Stone:
[over tape] Only what comes naturally to you. Kidnap my wife and kill her.

Jack Carlson:
[over tape] Why?

Tom Stone:
[over tape] I've seen the way you look at Melanie. Know what you'd like to do to her. I'll make sure you escape and aren't caught. [off tape] Call my lawyer!
