[narrating voice over] Eighty per cent of the films from the silent era has already been lost. A black and white film lasts for only a few decades. Color films lasts even less. Fifty per cent of color films have been lost forever. Film is the art that recounts our history, we cannot allow is to be lost. MediaSet is doing something. It has already restored a number of Italian film classics, and is completing the restoration of many more.
