[Dante has gravely injured Lucifer's giant, three-headed form]

Lucifer:
You are the best, Dante. Many have tried, and many have failed me. Brave Ulysses, the great Alexander, Attila, Lancelot - Only you possessed a soul black enough to free me. [Splits his own stomach open to reveal a fiery portal. Dante watches as Lucifer's true form jumps from the portal and takes a few steps towards him]

Dante Alighieri:
I gave my soul to free Beatrice, not you!

Lucifer:
Did you REALLY think this was all about the girl? She was the bait!

Dante Alighieri:
Her soul is free now. Only you and I remain!

Lucifer:
Come for me, holy warrior! [Conjures a flaming sword] Come fulfill your destiny.
