Roger Moore first got involved in UNICEF through Roger Moore close friend, Audrey Hepburn, because he admired the work Audrey Hepburn did with them, so Roger Moore went along to a UNICEF conference with Audrey Hepburn and immediately decided Roger Moore wanted to be a part of it. Roger Moore cared hugely about what was happening in the world and got very upset about injustices, particularly towards women and children.
