The shipments are of varying nature and varying value. But the cargo most tempting to the lawbreaker is money. On August 20th of this year, an armored truck was delivering a thirty-three-thousand-dollar payroll to the Reiner Oil Company. The schedule and contents of this truck were known, and a highly dangerous plan for seizing it had been devised by two criminals, Virgil Stocker and Alfred Davidson.
