Lumen:
Is that true...what you said about your wife?

Dexter:
Yes.

Lumen:
How did it happen?

Dexter:
Knife...painful and cruel.

Lumen:
I'm sorry that I cut you. I thought you were a monster, like Boyd. I thought you were going to kill me...or worse. I was locked up. I don't know where, or for how long. All I know is that it was horrible. And I thought...it would never stop.

Dexter:
But it has stopped. He's dead. It's over. You can go home.

Lumen:
I don't think so.

Dexter:
You can. I read your letter. I know you have a family who loves you. You should go home to them.

Lumen:
It's not that simple.

Dexter:
It is. It really is.

Lumen:
Boyd wasn't the only one who did this to me. There were others. It's not over.
