Kaworu Nagisa:
You wanted to tell me something didn't you?

Shinji Ikari:
So much has happened since I came here. Before this I lived with my teacher. It was calm and boring in those days. I wasn't really doing anything, but I was fine with that. There was really nothing I had to do.

Kaworu Nagisa:
Did you hate dealing with people?

Shinji Ikari:
More or less. But I didn't really care as much, however I really hated my father. [Says to himself] Why am I telling all this to Kaworu?

Kaworu Nagisa:
