Lionel:
When your attempt to escape failed, you sabotaged my efforts to have you released, to be cared for at home.

Lex:
But I told you. I'm cured. A cured patient doesn't belong in a hospital.

Lionel:
Oh, it's painful to see you like this. You know I have your best interest at heart, don't you?

Lex:
The only interest you have... is staying out of prison. I'm not insane, and you know it.

Lionel:
It's sad to see a man who's lost his mind. But it's tragic when he's convinced himself that he's sane.
